chapter seven: The breaking of war

We all gathered onto a ship and sailed across the body of water that separated us from Heaven's Island. Many people were scared to return to the land that they feared about, but held it together for even bigger fear of looking weak. After what felt like weeks we made it to Heaven's island. No one moved off the boat I slowly made my way up, guards upon guards were on the shore waiting for us to make our move. I jumped into the water not thinking I moved some of my magic to my feet like I was taught so I could walk on water, I started walking with a small bounce, my hair swaying with every step, my eyes blinking from red to blue, a golden flame marking every step that I took. I smiled to the guards. I need to make a move even if I was the only one that was going to fight. I heard someone jump down next to me but only with a huge splash I was covered with water, I looked over, Tobi, she smiled and grabbed my hand.

Tobi "fire blazer." We both did the same move clearing out the 1st two rows of guards, we heard more people jump from the ship to our surprise it was only the girls, I ran forward not thinking and slid my sword out from its holder. Attacking anyone that was in my way, once again I was being careless about my actions but this was war a fight to end everything to put Jorōgumo's out of pain. Tobi followed behind me and soon enough the rest of the girls did too then the men jumped down, everyone past me and Tobi as we stood there holding hands. Clouds ran over our heads it soon began to rain me and Tobi were standing back to back fighting like it was about to be our last moments, the last of everything. Our backs hit...

Tobi "keep your guard up and oh let's combine a few of our attacks." I nodded "heaven and earth combine, the sky is crying, I beg the gods to lend us strength to end this war with one swing... fire of the lighting god, roar!" a mix of fire and lighting shock the island 'ok now it's my turn! Hear me roar as the dragon slayer of the sky dragon, Alkane!' a forbidden magic that destroys evil or anything you want it to. I looked over to Tobi to see that her eyes were purple, our backs hit again.

Kanae "you're not scared of your eyes being forever purple?"

Tobi "nope not one bit... rewrite the future make the evil on this island vanish! Masaki!" I smiled, and ran straight knocking down what felt to be 100 guards. I black flipped into the air, jumping away from what would have been a fatal move, but another guy jumped up behind me sending me to the ground. I quickly got up and froze the ground around me making anyone that came near me slip and fall, it was easy to attack someone knowing that they couldn't walk on ice, I cleared my area as fast as I could then have looked around to see who need help. Everyone was fighting their hardest, I decided to combine my magic with Tsuyoshi magic. I ran around helping everyone making the numbers of the guards smaller everyone saw what I was doing and most of them did the same thing I was doing. We fought till night fall the fighting had died down, 10 people took turns staying up 5 people would stay up for half the night and for the rest of the night the other half would stay up. I woke up early to see a few of our people had fallen and their Jorōgumos were running around in front of them a blonde was running, fighting, I couldn't make out who it was sense we had 3 blondes on the ship.

Man "hey did you know that people with blue eyes are rare in this world and that people with blonde hair are extremely rare?!"

Man 2 "oh really?"

Man "yeah I guess people with blue eyes get it from having the Jorōgumo sealed inside of them and that one of their eyes are a different color cause the person that sealed the Jorōgumo uses the eye for it to be properly sealed or something like that. And for the blondes I don't really know about them."

Man "damn I'm happy I don't have a Jorōgumo sealed inside of me I would go crazy knowing that I would lose my brown eyes to one blue eye and my other eye being a different color."
