Part IX- Explaining Forever.

entice
it can be
the way the
road looks so
shiny and glowy
or maybe it was
tha street lights giving
a tinge of bright
along with falling stars
but maybe it was just
the way you held my hand
and smiled with all emotions
that made everything perfect
on that flat saturday
night was the first
feeling i noticed
enticed with you.

His name was Ugene, and she was Grazel.
It might not have been appropriate or even fitting at all that these two are childhood friends. How come? They fight and disagree at almost everything in life.
"Hey no! There are four dimensions." Grazel argued, pinching the bridge of her nose which hurts from her glasses. He snickered and shook his head.
"No, Time isn't a dimension. Infact, Time is an element." Ugene disagreed, shoving his hands to his pockets.
"How can you say that?" Grazel peered and looked at him questioningly. She pursed her lips and didn't meet his eyes, fearing she'll do something bold if ever she did.
You see, Grazel had always been liking her dear childhood friend from afar. The only reason why she still fights with him is to get his attention, Infact, She'll put up big hints but it'll end up with him laughing at her face and ruffling her hair like a little child.
Ever since then, She knew she was hopeless. The only thing he ever gave to her was the red pendant that grew violet in a matter of days. She would ask why, He said he doesn't want to wear something he found in the street.
He was too naíve, such an airhead to notice all those efforts to get him to like her back. He liked her, but in other people's eyes, It was sister love.
"If Time is a dimension, then why doesn't forever exist?" He suddenly said, stopping his walk and looking at her with such an expression.
She was afraid, that if he stood too close, maybe he'd see what was going on her mind. She would be embarassed if that scene ever happened.
"Actually it does." She suddenly said, jutting her chin out.
"Oh really?" He taunted, taking a step forward her.
"Yes, Really." She challenged, shivering inside. Why was he looking at her like that? Why is he taunting her? Why is he asking about the word forever?
"Prove it." He whispered as he was too close. His cold and minty breath smelling of Lime bubblegum and coffee. Which didn't really go together, but she liked his scent anyway.
"Time is well, Time. Forever is a place for two lovers, Even if they really can't see it- neither can we, but it is. Forever is real, however we use the wrong interpretation about it. Forever isn't infinity, Forever is how long something lasts." She explained, looking away from his gaze.
