Part X- Miracles

exciting
it was the way
he gave me a small
and challenging smile
as if he was planning
everything on what will
happen and eventually, he did.
it was his sparkling eyes
and beautiful mysterious
glow that kept me on
and it was how he
was so happy by just
seeing me excited and smiling.

His name was Tam, And he wanted her so much he never knew he could want anything else in this world like that. He wasn't desperate, He needed her in the most appropriate way we could ever imagine.
She was Holly, A girl that defines her own name. She loved the wonders of testimonies, verses and the wise words she and her Mom once knew.
He loved her, And she loved him too- But they were young and she was fragile and sick, he never knew. He wanted her- to take her out on a Saturday night.
Her father named Ugene didn't want his little girl to grow fast, "I will give you no permission at all." He replied after Tam's pleas.
After times and times of thinking about it, Tam took this courage and spoken about Faith, the way Holly would. Alas, Her father said a yes.
She was wearing a blue dress with a shaped smile, and he was everything and nervous. He never felt this way with girls before, he knew.
Candle-light dinner started and they talked, She loved the idea of how it was a real date. With the person you love. With music, with stars on a roofless restaurant. It was what she wanted- things on her checklist.
Seconds before they knew it, They were driving in a car in an exciting speed. She was happy, yet curious about Tam's plans. They stopped at a sign with "FellowPark Town", a town they lived near.
"Come out!" Tam said excitedly, with his face morphing into of excitement.
"What are you going on crazy about, Tam?" Holly responded, rolling her eyes yet smiling albeit curious.
He led her in the middle of the road, and there were no cars so it was safe. Tam held her hand, and he always wanted to fullfil Holly's dreams- a checklist she once told him.
"Okay, Right now you're straddling across a thin border line. Right?" Tam chirped, looking at her who was standing in a line, left foot on the side of their town, The other on FellowPark.
"Yes?" Holly replied hesitantly, looking at where she was standing at. She still didn't get it, until there was a spark in Tam's eyes.
"You're standing in two places at once." He said, triumph in his face. He loved her, he wanted her to be happy. He knew this was in her checklist, To be in two places.
Before she knew the smile was spreading from her face, she leaped and hugged the boy ever so tightly that she felt the whole universe in her arms.
If only time would stop, If only the cold night wind will blow so slow- If only she was his forever and always.
Then after their hugging session (which had them both blushing after they realized what they done), they headed to Tam's secret places. A place where he'd like to think peacefuly.
It was on the bridge- A bridge to nowhere ontop a huge and blue lake. He led her there, just because he thought of the place fitting with her smile and feauture.
The wind blowing through her hair, Her eyes that twinkled with the stars- brighter than them exactly. Her glow seemingly with the moon. She was beautiful and he can't help but smile.
She leaned against the ram, closing her eyes and feeling the cold lake wind blow against her soft ivory skin.
"Love is like.. The wind. You can't see it but you can feel it." Holly whispered, loud enough to send the words running along with the soft hum of the lake and the breeze.
That took Tam surprised, he never knew the love of his life could be this wise enough to insert some sort of quote in a night like this.
Moments after talking and crying and doing things teenagers in dates do, He pulled her close and whispered in her ear, the most beautiful words not every people hear with sincere.
"I love you." With tear brimmed eyes, he looked at her hopefully. Begging her to say it back, but all her lips did was quiver and took a taste of her salty tears.
"Now's the time to say that back.." Tam said, panicking and worried- all confidence lost- after moments of her dreadful silence. She couldn't speak. No one -aside from family- has ever told her that with such emotion that overwhelmed her too much.
"I might kiss you." He warned, eyes fleeting to her lips. It made her feel beautiful, wanted and happy. Screw the butterflies, She felt the zoo in her stomach.
"I might be bad at it." Holly replied, still dumbfounded.
Tam laughed at her and responded, "That's not possible." And so he pressed his lips to hers, making the night as magical as little fairies can do. Fireflies in the bushes, soft hum of the wind and the lake below, in the perfect place with moonlight and starlight, It was the best scene she ever lived.
And so there was this girl named Holly, Who loved a boy named Tam very much. That she forgot about her own illness, and wasted all the time and effort just to be with this boy. They were different, but then they were the same in some means.
She wished for a miracle, and he was hers.
