Chapter Five: Give us explanation!

"Hey, wake up you sleepy head!" Dan said. Dan pulled the blanket and I fell on the floor, OH, how I hate man like him..."You know you can just TELL me to wake up, MR. DAN MASON!" I said. "Well sorry, your highness, you just stole my bed!" he said "Wha-" I was just saying, then suddenly someone knocked the door, Dan opened the door, and we were both surprised when it's Genevieve with her nursemaid Angelica. They come in and Genevieve said "Sorry for intruding, but I forgot that there's someone living here..." "Yup, I notice..." I said "Sorry.." she said "Can you please explain, Genevieve what's going on? And what she's doing here?" Dan asked

"Remember when I visited you and I told you about my sister..." she said "Yeah..." he said "Ugh..he won't beleive it..." I said Genevieve looked at me and smiled "Dan, I was only adopted and when King Roland chose me, he brings me to her castle, I met Diana there, searching for freedom, so I device a plan since I met her and since I know that you're going here and live, I sent her here and YOU are going to protect her!" she said. "WHAT?!" we both said "I'm going to protect her?! WHY?" Dan ask "What about my freedom, i can't be free when there's someone who knew my identity!" I said "WAIT! Both of you slow down, Diana, I want Dan to protect you so he can take you away from our Father, oh and by the way how long do you want your freedom?" she said "As long as Papa won''t find out!" I said "I'll try to keep at that, and Dan promise me that you're going to PROTECT her!" she said, then Dan answered "If you say so..." "Thank you...sorry but we must be going now, I'll sent you a letter just like always..." she said "YES!" I said.

Genevieve and Angelica get outside and ride their horses, while me and Dan are in awkwardness and when I stared at Dan I said "You like Genevieve aren't you?" "WHAT?!" he said "It's written all over your face..." I said Dan's face look likes he's gonna blow and he said "You got me..." I laugh and he said "I'll go prepare breakfast..." "Oh, Can I help?" I ask "No, Princess you'll just be in the way..." he said "You haven't knew me yet, yet I'm in your way, don't underestimate me! I maybe a PRINCESS in the OUTSIDE, but I'm a SIMPE GIRL in the INSIDE" I said and headed to the kitchen "You know you don't have to be a show-off..." he said "I'm not trying to SHOW-OFF, go prepare the table and I COOK! Just wait and see until you taste it!" I said and Dan said Fine and set the table.

While Dan was setting the table, I on the other hand preparing some food. I opened the refrigerator and I only saw eggs and some leftovers so I remake them, when I was done I make them ready and put them on the table and Dan was surprised and when he take a bit he said "Okay Princess, I underestimate you, your cooking was delicious" "Thank you, but can you please not call me Princess, call me by name..." I said "Okay...Diana" he said "Yes?" I ask "Nothing...so tell me, why do you want freedom so much, isn't every Princess can do everything?" he said "Not every Princess, you see since I was borne, my Mother died and our Father made a promise to the Queen that I'll be the future Queen and marry a Prince I don't know though I do met him,since then my Father sent me to a far away land and I grew up there every twice a month Genevieve and Papa would visit me and... but all of this was decided since I was borne, so I had ENOUGH! and wanted to write my own destiny" I said

Dan's faced looked a little bit of surprised and said "Your life must be miserable..." and I said "No...it isn't miserable I had friends though they're all workers, and I had Anna, my nursemaid and Apple Jack..." "You mean the horse?" he ask and I said "Yes, the horse..." I continued to eat and Dan ask "So...why did you name horse Apple Jack?" I answered "Well...when Apple Jack was borne she loves Apples so much so that's why I named her Apple Jack..." "I see..." he said "So, how about you what's your relationship with Genevieve?" I ask "Wha-" he said and sigh "Genevieve and I grew in the same orphanage, one time the King make it in a charity and as a welcomed gift he adopted Genevieve. Genevieve and I are closed friends" "Close to CLOSE FRIENDS?" I ask then he continued "NO! Like a BEST FRIEND, she's not any other girls, but when the King adopted her she changed!" My looked a little bit of sad and then Dan said "Your cooking is delicious, I want to give you a reward or something..." "Really?! then I want some book!" I said Dan's faced is shocked but he said "Okay, I'll go downtown and buy you some book" I thanked him and then he get his horse and waved at me...

At the castle...

"Good morning, Papa?" Genevieve said "Good morning Genevieve, where's your Sister? "I don't know, she wasn't in her room, so I thought that she headed here first..." I said "Your highness...Princess Diana is missing..." the butler said "WHAT?!" the King said in shocked "Genevieve, I thought..." "Her bed was neatly clean, so I thought she headed over here FIRST, what you don't believe me!?" I said "Your highness, a maid found this in her study table..." the butler said. It says....

Dear Papa,

I had enough of you deciding my life from the moment I know the truth. I believe you, but I don't think Mother agreed to the promise you have for her. I like Prince Edward, but I don't think his the right man for me, and being a QUEEN of Llandaron is going so FAR. I don't want to live a Princess anymore...I want to write my own destiny, even if you are against to it, well I'M NOT AGAINST TO IT! maybe Mother is also not against it! Goodbye Papa, and please don't come look for me!

"That child...she never disobedient me before...Bailey, grant a search and rescue I want every inch of Llandaron, be search!" the King said "Yes your highness" Bailey said "WAIT! If your having a search party then the people of Llandaron will know that you  have daughter from the queen and your plans will be ruined, so let 12 men handle it." I said "Well, that's quit true, Bailey get 12 men and let them search for Diana, no one must know about it!" the King says.

I better alarm Dan for this.

"Papa, I'm going to check Diana with Anna" I said and the King said "Please do..." the King says.
