Chapter Thirteen: One Last Kiss

I wake up and Diana is griping my hands tightly. Yesterday, since Genevieve visits, she was silent all long and was sighing all day like she has a problem, but she doesn't want to talk about it. What is it they both know that I shouldn't know, could Edward know this too? I've been having questions in my mind, but I know that Diana is not that kind of a girl. I get of the bed and think of something to surprise her.

 As I was preparing my surprise for her, I was thinking, I don't know, but I got the feeling that I'll lost her. Next week is her birthday and her coronation too, and I don't see men in black in the town, did they find her? NO that couldn't be...I finished my surprise for her, since she's still sleeping I was planning on having a breakfast in bed.

When I get in our room, Diana is waking and I said "Good morning!" as I put her breakfast in the bed. She gets up and I laugh.

I woke up and Dan was laughing so hard and I ask "What's so funny?" Dan was still laughing; "If you don't stop I'll..." as I was saying Dan said "You'll what? Ha ha...you look like....ha ha... your bed hair is funny!" I look at the mirror and my hair is so...SO MESSY! "Ha Ha Ha...funny, Dan!" I said, I was angry when I said that, NO! I was sulking! I didn't look at Dan that moment, and suddenly my stomach grumbles.

"Ha Ha Ha...you're hungry, here I cook something for you" Dan removed the cover and I saw and "I LOVE YOU" well the Love is a heart shape and I ask him "What's this? An omelet?" "Yeah, but its omellete rice, it's from Japan actually..." he said. I looked at him and smiled, and then I taste the food, it was delicious I've never tasted this before. I offered him to eat too, we were so happy, but this end of our meeting. "Diana, yesterday you look like you're having troubles. Is something bothering you?" Dan asks. "No it's nothing..." I better change the topic or he'll get notice "Dan, it's been a while since we've bathe our horses..." "Now that you think about it...it is been a while, after you eat we'll bathe the horse and have a picnic by the river and rest at the garden, that's what you like isn't?" he said.

After I finish eating, Dan and I went to the stable. We decided to take our horses a bathe at the opposite, so Dan gets to bathe my horse and I'll get to bathe his horse. At first I don't know how to bathe a horse, but when Dan who laughs so hard he helped. This is where we kissed and my FIRST kissed happened. I grow up in a place where no Mother take care of me, and Anna who takes the place as my Mother, even though I have a Father I didn't feel it at all, he just visit me twice a month and all my life has been decided. I look at Dan and I feel sorry, this is the last day I'll be with him. My time with Dan has limits. I wish I can see Mom. After we bathe our horses, we prepare our lunch for the picnic.

Dan and I cooked for our lunch, we task ourselves, so that it'll be easy, besides in 3 hours it's lunch time. Dan makes sandwiches and I prepared the things for our picnic. That time when we were having a picnic by the river we have love confusion. I don't know that Dan has fallen for me. I thought that he loves Genevieve, so I made a romantic gesture for them both, but turns out to be our confession for each other.

When we finished our tasks we ride our horses and headed to the river. The river is near at the garden so later we're going to rest.

Dan lay down the blanket under the tree. I love picnics SO much. When I was five I'll pretend that I'm having a tea party, I pretend that my dolls are my guest and some fairies are invited too. I'm always dreaming to have a picnic with somebody and I did.

After Dan lay down the blanket, I take out the food from the basket and give some for Dan. "You really are a wonderful cook, Dan!" I said, Dan smiled and kiss me in the forehead. I wonder how many times we kissed. Is it five, ten or many more? I can't forget those moments, though I have too.

Diana is really in a deep thought since this morning, I bet there is something that troubling her. I want to ask, but it'll spoil our mood, I better think of something.

"Boy~~I'm full..." I said and Diana laughs "Well since you only eat little at breakfast I bet that you eat all our food" "Really?" I ask Diana again laughs.

"Dan, why don't we walk to the gardens...?" I asked "Sure why not..." he said. We both stand up and walked, but then Dan holds my hands and I hold his hands back. I always imagined what it feels like to hold your hands with your special someone, but with Dan I feel like all my wishes are coming true.

When we arrived at the garden, we headed to the big tree and our heart shaped mark, by the tree. I touched it and Dan pulls my chin and kissed me. "I eat many and I'm feeling tired..." he said I sit down and pat on my hips and said "Why don't you use me a pillow?" Dan smiled and lay down at me.

"Dan...I Love You!" I said Dan looks at me and said "I love you too!" and we both kissed. Few minutes passed, Dan and I fell asleep. I was dreaming the garden, and there were two people a man and woman...is that, yes it's Mama and Papa. It looks like I was dreaming when they were dating. Suddenly I heard a woman's voice calling for me...

"Diana, Diana..." I looked, but there were so much light, I closed my eyes and opened them, and I saw my Mother smiling at me and she asks me "Are you happy?" "Mom, I'm happy, but..." I said. My mother looks at me with sad eyes and said "I'm sorry, Diana, you have to go through all this." I looked at her and hugged her "Mama, what should I do...I don't know how to make Papa realize love again..." I said and I begin to cry "Shh...Diana, when you're with your special someone you experience many things: envy, jealousy, misunderstandings...these feelings proved that you loved each other, but love can always wins. Even though it's been long, I'm sure you can do anything..." as she was saying Mama disappear.

Dan was calling me many times and I wake up, and he said "Did you have a nice sleep?" I smiled at him and he carries me to where our horses are. We ride our horses and get straight to the cottage. We put them in the stable and I let Dan come inside first.

"Dylan, I have something for you, but give it when you need it..." I said and give something. This is the last day I'm going to be with Dan, I shouldn't spare this moment. I come inside and saw Dan preparing our food, I helped him. After that we eat, we also both wash the dishes.

When we're at our room I look at my ring and said "Dan...IF I was gone for a long time, will your feelings changed?" "What's the sudden question?" he asked "Nothing, so what? Will your feelings for me changed?" I said again "What do you think my answer is..." he said and Dan pushed me down and kissed me. That moment was in the time of desires.

I woke up and the sun isn't rising yet, I get off the bed quietly. I looked at Dan, and kissed him and said "I love you!" I put on my clothes and get all my things. I was ready to go, but the feeling that I'm going back is so hard for me. Before I leave I prepare a breakfast for Dan and leave a note. I get Apple Jack and said Goodbye to Dylan, and then I ride her and order to run. I stopped and looked at the cottage and finally said "Goodbye Dan, I love you, but I'm sorry..." I then order Apple Jack to go.

I was crying so badly, the moments that I was with Dan forget that me as a Princess is nothing but an ordinary girl who just wants to fall in love. NO! I have a duty, and Mama if you're looking at me, I have something for Papa to realize loved again. I arrived at the castle and Papa's butler welcomes me and let me see Papa.

The story has reached its climax, what would the two lovebirds do? Will Genevieve has the chance to help Diana again? Or not? And what is Diana planning for her Papa to realize love again.
