Jungkook POV:

I'm a vampire. Yes. A vampire. The kind of creature that is emotionless and sucks the lives out of people. I didn't choose to be like this: it runs in my family bloodline, as well as many other families.

It all started decades ago when my great-great grandfather was held hostage on a ship. He was originally on a trip, but was taken by the captain, who was traveling overseas. He came by a mysterious bottle of dark blue liquid and forced it down my great-great grandfather to test it. When he started going crazy, the crew members tried to kill him. But it turned out to be the opposite. My great-great grandfather killed everyone, leaving the ship in a bloody mess.

From then on, the descendants of my great-great grandfather (everyone who was related to me) carried this ill-fated destiny with them everywhere they went. They carried the curse of being heartless monsters. They carried the weight of suppressing the urge to kill innocent people. They carried the wish of being normal and harmless. The things they carried caused my whole family to be scientists. My family tree consisted of biologists, chemists, physicists, forensic workers, physicians, and any other type of science related occupations you can think of. They've done everything they could think of. They've been trying to find the antidote to this "sickness" ever since the "incident".

But nothing has worked.
