The brothers of the past

When I was walking down the snowy path I could see what look like a bridge but I couldn't quite tell. When I looked up I noticed a branch about to break "probably too much snow" or so I thought.

I kept walking and then I heard a crack, followed by a scream, well two screams. When I looked behind me I saw two big clumps. The smallest one was orange and the other one was was white and blue.

"Aww that sucked. Hey pap you ok?"

"Nheeeee."

"I will take that as an ok then."  I was looking at the two dumbfounded, those trees were like 40ft tall! But looking at them closer they look like skeletons?  Well that's a thing but kinda scary.

The tall one was wearing a blue short sleeved shirt with one white stripe on both sleeves and black pants with a long white coat tied around his  waist.

The other one was shorter and had an orange hoodie on, black pants, red boots, and red mittens. I think he is the younger one, he looked 6 years old and the tall one look 12 or 13, maybe older?

The older one spoke first. "Uhhhhh so... Hi sorry to DROP IN on you like that." NEEEEEE!"

"Hehe sorry pap."  "hehe."  The two looked at me, Pap looked at me a bit annoyed and the other one looked at me like I made his day.

He ran up to me and stuck out his hand for a shake and I took it but he didn't expect it. "Pfffffffffff plb plb plb fffff." I laughed so hard.

" HAHAHAHAH the old whoopie cushion in the hand trick."

"Uuhhh haha that was a good one. Hi my name is Sans, Sans the skeleton." 

"Nice to meat you Sans. My name is Echo." We smiled at each other, he was very sweet.

"And this is Papyrus." I knelt down to papyrus' level and gave him a sweet smile. He didn't move and I was ok with that. He looked very shy so I won't punch him.

"Well Echo if you don't mind me asking ... are you a human?" I stared at him and gave him a confused look he noticed " well I was jest wondering and it's ok if you are. I just wanted to hang out or something and show you Snowedin and maybe help out?"

Yes he looked like a very sweet boy well skeleboy. " Ya, thats so kind of you Sans." Sans looked at me and his eye sockets widen and he jumped in excitement and so we walked I guess to Snowedin.

SOME WHERE ELSE IN THE UNDERGROUND

Hmmm we need to look at that soul of hers and see if she is a threat or not.

But I need to head home and make sure the boys are OK.

As the tall figure goes around the room and picks up papers around tables and the wording looks very strange.

Back with Echo, sans and pap.

Sans told me how the underground works and what the the blue heart means. Apparently it is my soul which I thought was pretty neat. Papyrus showed me a snow game where you need to put the snow ball in a hole before it melts away, it was really fun. I think pap is starting to warm up to me which I was very glad he was.

After more walking we eventually reached Snowedin. I noticed that some of the buildings were still under construction. Sans told me that he was friends with a fire monster and that his dad is going to name the bar/restaurant after him and it made me envious of him,  Sans, and pap. I wish I had parents like that, well I wish my parents were still here. But I can't stay in the past I need to keep moving forward. Maybe I can start over here make a new life, new friends, and maybe meat Chara.

We eventually made it to Sans and Papyrus' house. Papyrus went to the kitchen to make hot chocolate while Sans and I exchanged jokes.

"Ok Sans, I open a book and when I look inside there's another book in it, I open that one and the previous book is in it, I open that one and the other book is in it what is happening?"

" That's easy, it's a Quantum theory joke. That one is old though, G always used that one. It got pretty boring after the second TIME." Well he need's to work on his TIMing but he will get there.

"So Sans who is this G? What kinda person is he?"

"Well he is kind of like our dad. You see pap's and my parents died in the war and I don't quite remember them that well but that's ok. I know they fought and sacrificed themselves to protect us and I am thankful for that."

Sans is so brave and too wise for his age, he has lived a very difficult life I can tell, you can see it behind that smile of his. That smile is something undesirable but I can tell it is a true smile.

Papyrus came out with the hot chocolate and gave it to me and Sans. We all sat on the couch and chatted a bit. It was quite amusing to see the brothers annoy each other, it felt like I was part of a ... a family. But the door suddenly swung open and snow came in, it must be storming out.

A voice spoke and was a bit weird... It didn't sound normal.    

"SANS, PAPYRUS I AM HOME!"
