"Sehun, hurry up and pick the lock."
"I can't, it won't budge."
I smacked his arm, "Somebody just came in, hide."
We crawled under the secretary's desk but were still found.
"Hi, Mr. Huang," Sehun laughed nervously.
He sighed and went through his keys, picking one out and handing it to Sehun, "Be fast before he comes back."
"You're just going to let us prank Principle Kim?" Sehun felt confused.
"I don't like him either, hurry up."
Sehun unlocked the door and I dumped the box of crickets, "Hide little guys!"
"Okay now get out."
"Thanks, Mr. Huang," Sehun said.
"Yeah, thanks."
Sehun and I rushed back onto the dance floor, "This might be better than I expected, CJ."
"Oh, shut up, Sehun."
Jungkook and Yugyeom joined us, "Why aren't you guys dancing?"
"Our dates aren't here yet."
"I see them," I waved over Luhan and Jongdae.
"You look pretty," Jongdae told me.
"Thanks, you look handsome," I hugged him.
Sehun usually ended up as the center of attention during dances. He was a good dancer. I think he enjoyed everyone chanting, "Go Sehun!"
I kind of dreaded a slow song coming on, but it did eventually. Usually, Sehun and I would push over couples who were dancing and tie people's shoelaces together, but this homecoming was different. I was dancing with a boy. I'd meet eyes with an especially pissed off looking chaperone every once in a while. I looked at him apologetically.
I was happy when the song ended, but then Jongdae kissed me out of nowhere.
"I don't, uh, I don't like you that way, Jongdae," I looked back over, Tao was gone now. I ran away from Jongdae and down the hallway to Tao's room. He wasn't in there. I ran up the stairs and found him gazing out of the window, "Listen, it wasn't me. He kissed me, I swear it."
"You shouldn't even be here with him."
"I got the wrong impression. I thought we were just going as friends."
"Don't act dumb."
"I'm not, I really didn't expect that to happen, I swear."
"Come with me," I followed him into his classroom. He locked the door and closed the blinds again.
"I'm sorry that happened, TaoTao."
"I don't care," I stood on my tiptoes to kiss him but he stopped me, "Wipe your mouth first."
I wiped my mouth with my sleeve, "You don't have to be so mean about it."
He snaked his arms around my waist and kissed me, more passionately than he ever had before. He shoved things off of his desk so he could pick me up and set me there. He climbed over me and kissed my neck and jaw, pinning my hands over my head.
"You like me more than him right?"
"I never said I liked Jongdae. Are you doing this because you're jealous? Are you trying to prove something?"
"That I'm a better kisser."
"I never said I liked his kiss," He kissed me again, "Okay enough, do you want to be caught?"
