On the drive back to the Stilinski house I dug through the plastic bag of DVDs.

"Oh my god, Stiles!"

"What?" He glanced at me quickly.

"You got Pirates of the Caribbean? We have to watch that first. You wanna hear my impression of Jack Sparrow?" I asked excitedly clearing my throat and barely being able to get any words out because I was laughing so hard. "I'm Captain Jack Sparrow, why is the rum always gone?" I burst out laughing hysterically.

"I never said I wanted to hear it." Stiles shot making me narrow my eyes.

"I can let you drown..." I said in the accent before throwing my head back in laughter and I saw Stiles smile too. "I'm sooo hilarious!"

"Oh my God please stop, you are not that funny." Stiles laughed at me and shook his head.

"Then why are you laughing- Stiles are you kidding me?" I stopped smiling as I pulled out another box to a different movie. I took a deep breath.

"What?" He asked worriedly.

"Thor, you got Thor. He's like the worst superhero in the world. He shouldn't even count as a superhero. I never understood why he was in the Avengers."

"What do you mean? He's so cool, not to mention hot!"

"First of all you sound so gay and it's only because Chris Hemsworth is the actor. Second of all he doesn't have some cool backstory to getting his powers and does he even have powers. It's just a giant hammer?"

"Yeah! That only HE can pick up. He's a freaking God-"

"Exactly, he's just cheating at powers because he's a God!"

"No, no, no, he's the freaking, literally, mother of thunder! That's like the coolest thing ever!"

"It's cool that he didn't have to work for anything? And he could at least be known as the father of thunder if he was a real man." I shot back becoming more passionate.

"You're just jealous that you aren't ruler of the sky." Stiles muttered.

"Mmm hmm, that's what it is. I'm jealous that I'm not the worst superhero ever." I nodded crossing my arms.

"Well at least he isn't 3-D Man." Stiles spat and stuck his tongue out.

"At least 3-D man has an interesting story." My arms were crossed at this point.

"Who says Thor doesn't, actually you know what I'm done talking about superheroes at this point. We're here anyway." Stiles turned into his driveway and sighed.

"Well I'm done talking about superhero wannabes." I decided stuffing the movies back in the plastic bag before Stiles parked his little jeep.

"Mackenzie Finstock I swear to God." Stiles looked like he was on the verge of screaming.

"Okay fine, I'm done." I waved my arms up to surrender. I swung open the door and took a leap out of his jeep. A little shocked at the distance of jump, not being used to it.

"So we're watching a little of Johnny Depp first?" Stiles asked as we reached his front door. I nodded in response as I let my hair down from my messy bun and was surrounded by his house's warmth.

"Stiles? Is that you?" I heard a man's voice shout.

"Yeah dad, I invited Mac Finstock over if that's okay." I was kind of surprised to see the Sheriff for some reason.

"Oh Mackenzie, it's nice to see you again." Mr. Stilinski stood up from the couch welcoming me.

"You too," I smiled, "I hope I'm not intruding on the Stilinski family night or anything."

"No not at all. If anything I think I should leave the TV to just you two, I don't wanna intrude on your friendly movie night." Sheriff enunciated 'friendly' and not so subtly winked to Stiles.

"Dad! Stop it!" Stiles whisper shouted even though I was right there. My eyebrows furrowed. I wasn't sure what his Dad was talking about or what Stiles could have told him. All I knew was that he liked Lydia and a crush like that didn't just go away. What wasn't to like about those strawberry blonde waves, that perfect frame, or bitchy smile. And no I wasn't jealous. I fiddled with the bag full of movies and looked down at my scrappy sneakers pretending like I wasn't there. Something I found myself doing a lot, wishing I was invisible.  Maybe not the ultimate superhero power, but definitely one that I wanted.

"Well me and Mac are gonna watch Pirates of the Caribbean so goodnight dad!" Stiles waved to his dad before dragging me into his living room. Goosebumps ran up my back as he grabbed my arm.  "Sorry about him, I don't even know what he's doing honestly. He's the reason I'm like this and hmph" Stiles took a deep breath. "Why don't you just take a seat and get comfortable, but no shoes on the furniture and here," he took the video store bag, "I'll put this in and you can watch the previews as I get some snacks."

"Thanks man, and I'm classier than to put my dirty sneakers on to this couch, just so you know." I told him as I pushed off my sneakers with either foot and pulled my legs up on to the brown leather couch. I yawned sweeping my hair to the side of my head just realizing how tired I was.

"Remind me to not forget the soda." Stiles laughed before pushing the DVR closed and walking through another doorway leaving me alone and wondering if I would be able to stay awake before the movie even started. His house instantly captured the feeling of what a home should feel like, something that mine was lacking. Obviously I thought that my house felt like home, but it's only because I've lived there my entire life, this was much different.

"Alright, so here's a blanket and some goldfish. There's popcorn in the microwave right now. I brought a bunch of Pepsi's but if you want something else- oh and don't forget your Reese's." He said digging through the movie boxes and throwing me a bag of candy. The way he spoke all at once making me smile. "Okay, you ready? Wait- that's the microwave!" He stood up quickly before I could suggest going to get it myself. He came running back into the living room with a purple bowl full of heavily buttered popcorn.

"The way I make my popcorn, it's practically as good as the movies." he winked, "alright now we can press play right- nope I forgot the lights... And now!" He plopped in his seat reaching for the remote.

"Actually, I think I need to use the bathroom." I told Stiles pretending to get up.

"Mac! You just had all that time." He whined.

"Relax, I'm just pulling your leg."

"Thank God!" He sighed shrugging off his jacket and leaning back in a recliner.

"Why am I getting so excited?" I laughed as I opened a can of Pepsi.

"SHHH" He waved me off snuggling into the chair as he pulled up a blanket of his own like a little kid. I laughed silently to myself before indulging in the movie myself not being able to resist and not wanting to anyway.

So this wasn't too too long of a chapter, but it gives their relationship a bit more personality and you're kind of just going to see Mac is always looking to start an argument, even with herself. So she's resisting her feelings for Stiles. It's ultimately her first crush since she's never gone to public school and doesn't really know what she's feeling and for the next few chapters I really want to work on character development so sorry if that's boring.

I don't want to set a cast for this story, but out of curiosity how do you guys imagine Mackenzie? Also do you have any suggestions or things you wanna see in the future (not promising anything)

Super sorry for slow updates it's hard to stay motivated, but seeing you guys vote and comment really helps. Alright, goodbye I hope you're all having a good day/night and enjoying the story
