It was 5:00 a.m. and my alarm clock was beeping like any other average alarm clock would, so I put it on snooze for five minutes then slept some more. Before I could even fall asleep again, I could hear my mom walk up the stairs with her high heels since it echoed across the house.
Seemed as if she was in a really considerable hurry. She came rushing across the living room into my room and pushed the door knob really firm and quick, but she did not push it to where the door would smash the wall of my room.
"Madeline get up! Your going to be late for your final year of high school and you do not want to miss it!" She said in a roaring whisper.
The alarm clock went on again as soon as she finished her sentence, beeping louder than when it first did, loud enough for everyone up stairs to hear! Before anyone could actually wake up, I literally smacked the off button on my alarm clock and fell half way of my bed. My mom glared at me and I giggled quietly.
"Come on Madeline get up! We are both going to be late!" She whispered while being serious. She dragged me away from my bed, pulled me up, fixed my bed and gave me my blue backpack.
"I will be in my car, you brush your teeth and do what you need and hurry up I do not want to miss my presentational meeting Madeline!" I gazed at her as she went down stairs. I wonder why she did notice I was already changed into my school clothes, mabey she was to much in a rush to care or notice anything.
"Mabey she was going to meet those very serious business people! You know, the ones that would just disagree and change stuff all the time!" Alani said.
"Or mabey she was going to surprise someone with something! Like one of those surprise cakes!" Noah smiled.
"Noah you always talk about food and no, she was just going to have a discussion about expanding the business." I told, laughing about how Noah always wanting to eat or talk about food.
"Oh yeah Madeline, what happened to the business anyway? You never really told us about it yet." Alani asked calmly.
"You will find out once I tell you about my journey, though it is a crazily long journey." I explained as Alani and I were staring at Noah.
"What? Did I do something wrong?" Noah questioned in a sudden amount of confusion.
"Will you stay awake if I tell you the story?" I asked to Noah.
"Heck yeah I will! I will stay up for anything awesome to hear, but I need something to keep me up, mabey like a soda?" Noah said as his stomach kept on rumbling with hunger.
"Ok, but you do you guys promise you will listen to it? It is really more than just a journey, it is kind of like a real world fantasy, action, and adventure expedition." I said hoping they would actually listen.
"I will listen!" Alani said.
"I will listen as long as there is food and drinks!" Noah said.
We put our hands in the air together like a huddle up and shouted the word promise as we lifted our hands up.
"Ok so here is where I left off." I said continuing with the start of my journey.
