"Madeline, Madeline wake up." Mrs. Amy whispered while tapping on my shoulder.

"Huh? What?" I said stretching my arms.

"It has been about an hour. It's 8:25 am, I called Mr. Taylor to let him know what's going on and that you're safe." She said with a smile.

"Whenever you are ready just let me know and I will send you a pass back to class okay?" Mrs. Amy said.

"Okay, thanks." I replied while yawning.

There wasn't much to say to her except thank you because she does a really great job as a nurse!

However, there is a problem. While I was sleeping, I had a nightmare of a silhouette chasing after me with more silhouettes. They look like shadows demons. Nothing I've ever seen in my life.

Anyways, I got up and looked at my hand and there was a bit on a blood stain on it. I walked out of the bed covers and walked towards Mrs. Amy.

"Hey, you ready to go back to class now?" She questioned.

"Yeah I think I am ready, but can you rewrap my hand because it kind of has a visible blood stain on it." I said.

"Oh, of course! Just unwrap that one, throw it in the disposal, and I will get the antibiotics again for you!" She smirked.

I went to the trash can and unwrapped the bandage to see what my wound looks like now.

As I unwrapped it completely, I was in shock! The wound was black and had black liquid as a replacement for the blood! I freaked out, so I grabbed some paper towels and covered it up so that I don't have to see that or know if it is real or fake.

"Okay I am back with more wraps and antibiotics! Now let me see your hand." She demanded.

"Um, okay." I said in worry.

I took off the paper towels from my hand and was surprised. What appeared to be black liquid was still just regular blood. The blood stopped oozing out of my hand and it was just a stain of blood. Perhaps I was just tired and hallucinated it to be there. I really hope I didn't get schizophrenia from lack of sleep!

"Oh look! It looks a little bit better now! Just keep taking care of this wound and it should be back to normal! I promise you as well there won't be any scars!" Mrs. Amy remarked as she put the antibiotics and wrapped my hand up again.

Her sweet words made my calm and happy. You could really trust someone like her!

"Oh also, here is the pass back to class for you! I got it all ready while I was getting the antibiotics and such!" She said.

"Thank you so much Mrs. Amy. I hope I could give you something in return for your big help!" I smiled as I was walking to the door.

"Don't mention it! Also if you need anything else I'm always here if you need me! Take care now!" She waved.

"Bye thanks!" I said walking out the door.

What was that nightmare about anyway? I thought to myself. In it, it looked like a silhouette running after me with smaller silhouettes. Whatever, nightmares aren't real right?

Before I went back to class, I went to a drinking fountain to get a drink of water to refresh myself after all that nonsense.

The water fountain, was in what us students call, the void. It was a joke that we all created when the lights broke down because the faculty was never able to fix them. So now, it is just a long dark hallway out to the football field.

When I finish drinking water I give out a little sigh of relief. I look up and notice something at the corner of my eyes. I turned to look and paused in fear.

That same cursed silhouette in my nightmare was standing at the end of the hallway. I rubbed my eyes, smacked my face, and pinched my arm to see if it was real. Apparently it was!

It wasn't just a silhouette though, it looked like a guy in black armor. He had pearly white hair and teeth as he was giving off a sinister smile. From neck to toe he was covered in black armor. The last thing I could identify that told me this guy is a danger to me specifically, is that he has a scar on his left eye.

It sounded like he whispered something but I couldn't get out what he said. Whatever he said, a bunch of shadow demons with purple glowing eyes appeared next to him. Some had physical bodies and others were just distorted, goopy, and messed up looking.

I was either hallucinating again, or this time it's real! My heart started pounding against my chest, I started to breath heavily.

He started to walk closer to me, so started walking away from him. I turned my head slightly to where I was going as I was heading towards Mr. Taylor's class.

They started walking ever faster towards me. Then they started chasing me. I ran as fast as I could to get to the class without looking back. Halfway there, I turn to a corner to catch my breath. I look back to see a bunch of shadow goop of arms crawl against the wall to grab me.

Without, hesitation I run again closer to the class, this can't be real! Terrified, one arm grabbed my leg, instead of screaming I kicked it and made a run for door, but then I thought to myself, I cant go to class in a situation like this!

I ran into the ladies bathroom. I looked out to see if they were still there and they are gone from my sight.

I checked to see if anyone was in the bathroom so they didn't have to hear me gasping for air. No one was here, I was alone and I could stay here as long as I need to because Mrs. Amy didn't write a time for my pass, nor did she call Mr. Taylor to let him know I'm on my way. Such an amazing person in general!
