Chapter 18 | Cold Cave

Minutes of talking and answering questions past, now we finally made it through the blizzard and to the library home. "Oh finally we are here! It took a long to get here!" She said in relief. "Its a mountain. Are you saying we walked all the way just to get to a mountain?" I asked. "Oh sweety no! Heavens no! My library home is in a cave in the mountain! I wouldn't joke like that!" She explained. "Well then how long till the cave?" I questioned. "About 5 minutes. Just follow me." She said. "That is what I've been doing this entire time, but i trust you, I'm just cold and tired." I said. Just a few walks and we approached the caves extremely large entrance. "Here is the cave, beautifully anonymous." She smiled. "Woah, this cave, i have no words!" I shocked. "It is just an old cave surely its not that special." She thought. "No i mean i have no words for how cold i am right now, so can we enter?" I exaggerated. "Well your never gonna get warmer, so let us hurry up any way Madeline the comedian." She snickered. We entered, just me and a dragon through a humongous cave, there were spikes above so i had to watch out. Soon there, at the moment, i wasn't exaggerating anymore. Books were every where! Left, right, up, down! Heck, even the book shelves were made of ice! The entire library was like an ice Colosseum of books! There were tons of books and papers on the floors and tall ladders to get hup and down the sections! "Oh! This is your library! It is amazing!" I cheered. "Yeah, it gets lonely here and most of the time i just spend it on organising and rereading the books and documents. It is kind of a pain climbing these ladders because of how big i am, but look at me doing it right now!" She said as she was fixing books on the fourth floor. "I am sorryno one is here to give you company! I can visit from time to time if you want." I said. "That would be wonderful! I can teach you alot more than you already know about T.E.L.O.W. plus i think it is time to get to business." She exclaimed. "Hey whats that?" I asked. "That my dear, is the map of Ice, of course you probably bumbed into the map of T.E.L.O.W., but this one shows nore of Ice to guide you on your journey whilst you are here. Behind that is the statues power, it is weak without its pieces connected, that is why we have you." She explained. "Is the statue in here?" I questioned. "I am afraid not dear, it is at the tip top of this very mountain, but you'll climb it later." She said. "Alright let us get you the map so you will be on your way!" She hurried. She opend the lid without touching it, like telekinesis, but with some other type of magic. "How did you do that?" I questioned. "Ice picking. If you have the power of Ice within your hands, you can open anything frozen shut." She said taking the scrolled map out of the icey glass container. "Can i obtain that power any time soon?" I asked. "Not quite now, but you can obtain this ancient map of Ice i protected my whole life that has never been ruined ever before, not even a scratch." She warned. "Not even a scratch!?" I squeaked. "No i am just messing with you, just please do not destroy it, it means a lot to me. I don't think you will destroy it though because you can't, i added eternal invisible ice to it, but it is not invisible it is just paper thin." She answered. She handed the map to me and it was coldly old. "Ok thanks Chasm! So where to next?" I chuckled. "The Ice castle, it is located on the map. Go to Iclo the king of Ice, he will tell you what to do next." She said. "Well it was nice meeting you! Hope to see you soon! Good bye!" I said leaving the cave. As i left i noticed the blizzard had stopped and i could see far and wide. So now, i opened the map and saw that to get to the castle was to cross a frozen lake. I put the map in the backpack and headed on without direction because i knew the way now. This ment more walking through snow, at least it is not threw that blizzard. Yeah, another hour of walking and i reached the lake. I am still human though so i got hungry and if i had to do my business i did it just there, so really it is not that easy.
