Patricia Noble was running through an empty, wooded park.  It had been years since she used her powers for they are not needed when you are the head of a broadcasting station.  Patricia's power to sense when danger was coming had saved her dozens of times, it was the only reason she survived Hecate's explosion, however the feeling of the looming threat of being hunted was driving her insane.  She knew she was as good as dead; therefor her powers were both a blessing, but in this case, a curse.

Her running eventually came to a stop, she sensed Hecate's aura before his body chilled the air.  This was when Patricia understood there was no more running.

"Hecate," she smiled to her old companion, "long time, no see."

"You know I have to kill you, Pat," was Hecate's only response.  He had his back turned to her, ashamed to be doing such an act.

"Don't look away from me, Hecate.  You tried to kill me once as a coward.  Kill me now as a man, or, better yet, a woman."

Hecate spun around to reveal his face to the only person who had never been afraid of him.  Patricia looked straight at the soulless creature.  Hecate's face was made out of a head radiating smoke seemingly made out of pure sorrow.  His actual structure was seemingly closer a fog or cloud, not a real human head, whereas the only facial features he had was a long cut mouth to which he spoke, but never breathed.

"The same blank face I remember, Hecate.  Fine, finish me."

Hecate raised a hand and a black bolt shot from it.  Due to her powers, Patricia could see this coming.  She hopped out of the way, however she landed in a position that left her open for attack.  Hecate raised his had again, however, he could not bring himself to kill his friend.

"I can give you one last chance, Patricia.  Where is Phobos?  Tell me, and you can live."

"I cut connection from the girl weeks ago.  Even if I did know, I wouldn't tell you, she could be half way across the world by now for all I know."

This was not the answer Hecate was looking for, however he could not kill Patricia looking her straight in the face.

"I won't kill you, I guess truly I am a coward."

"I would not let you kill me, Hecate, you know that.  I knew you didn't have it in you; the Hecate I remember didn't at least.  Now step away from me before I slap you, and go tell Madam Gaea you failed and- "

This statement drew all mercy out of Hecate.  He lifted his orb into the sky, when it got ten feet above his hand it opened and drew the body of Patricia inside.  She was not dead, Hecate could not do that to her.  However she will pay for her crimes in the eyes of the Chronos Society.

"One down, three to go," he sighed.  Hecate opened a portal and teleported back within the walls of the Chronos Society.  The room was filled with sunlight, so it was obvious to Hecate that Madam Gaea was not home.  He placed the orb on a platform and left it there for Gaea.  He could now no longer simply capture people as he did for every normal human in the city; he now was forced to kill Phobos and her companions.
