Another time skip, unfortunately
Graduation was beautiful; if I were human, I would have cried when Bella got her diploma. She has gotten so big; yet again, so have I.
The party isn't exactly in full swing quite yet. I am just now ready, and downstairs. Jasper and I are by the stair rail, where three wolves stand: Jacob Black, Paul Lahote, and Seth Clearwater. Seth is the youngest one and Paul's the oldest in their small group of three. According to Carlisle, Sam Uley, the alpha, is the eldest of the pack.
Jessica and Angela arrive with Mike and Eric around 7? Tyler arrives, Lauren is here too as Tyler's date. Lauren is a beautiful girl with the prettiest blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Hi, Lauren." I greet. "Hi, Tyler. Glad you guys could make it!"
Tyler greets me back. "Thanks for inviting us, Ruby. I have always dreamt of what this house looked like on the inside."
"It's nice, isn't it?" I ask as I take a look around.
"It's beautiful." Lauren replies. "I want a house like this."
I agree before Angela pulls me into the dance floor to dance. We dance to Meant To Live by Switchfoot. Angela is Bella's nice friend, and she is smart too.
Alice grabs my arm and pulls me to the den, where the family and the wolves are all gathered, Bella included. I sit in Jasper's lap as Alice tells us about we vision. Someone is building an army f newborn vampires.
"It may be Victoria." I say. "I saw her at the prom. She said she was planning something big."
"She was at prom?" Edward gasps.
I nod. "We watched you and Bella for a while. She won't kill me during this, she likes me."
Victoria's POV
I finish kissing Riley, and I look at our well built army of vampires.
"Do not, and mean do not harm Ruby Volturi, or I'll kill every one of you." I hiss. "I like Ruby."
"But her family killed James and Laurent." Bree says.
"She was adopted by another family, the Volturi of Greece, located in Italy." I speak. "Do not harm her, that's my final warning."
Ruby's POV
Victoria told me in what she was planing during prom that I won't be harmed. She never mentioned what she was planning. I am guessing she's planning an attack on us, because they killed James, her mate.
"Victoria was telling me James was her mate." I say. "She would want revenge because you guys killed him."
"What kind of revenge?" Jacob asks me.
"Edward, you killed James." I say. "She will make things even, she will kill yours. Bella. She's after Bella."
"We're in." Jacob says.
"Jake, you'll get hurt." Bella pleads.
"Anything to kill a blood-sucker." Paul says, popping his knuckles.
"Offended." I scoff.
"Sorry." Paul smiles.
"We can start training tomorrow." Carlisle says as he sits back.
"Yeah, because they're coming here, instead of us going to Seattle." Alice says.
"Ruby's safe." Emmett says. "I heard her and Victoria. Victoria has grown to trust and like her."
"Good." Edward says "she can be and me and Bella. But, in a tree. Seth will be with us on the mountain too."
"I'm tired of the noise." I whisper. "I'll see you all at the clearing tomorrow."
I walk upstairs, in human speed because the party is still in full swing. I walk into my room and I take my heels off. I put them in my shoe chest before stripping out of my dress.
I put on some shorts and a T, I sit on the bench by the window and I stare out the black, lace curtain. Jasper taps on my door before entering and he sits at my feet. I lay my feet on his legs and we stare at each thee, enjoying each other's company for the rest of the calm, peaceful night.
