Nate is now almost 2 months old. Nicky came back yesterday and had apologized for not being here for me and the baby. I hugged him and didn't let go for about 20 minutes. I'm so glad he's back, He will finally have the father he deserves. Nate still isn't doing the greatest he is still smaller then the normal newborn. The doctor said there is a 50/50 chance that he will make it, Claire and I haven't told Nicky yet. He's just so happy around Nate and I don't want to ruin it. Nicky had fallen asleep in the nursery chair, I went and sat on his lap and put my head on his shoulder. I felt him kiss my forehead and pull me closer to him. I love him and I never want to let him go again, I want to spend the rest of my life with him... hopefully he feels the same way about me.

The next morning we were woken up by the cries of Nate, that's my que to feed him. I got off Nicky's lap and picked up Nate. I started to feed him, since he's still to young formula could be harmful to him so I have to continue to breastfeed. Nicky woke up and looked at us. I turned around and he smiled. We all sat in the chair together as the beautiful family we are.
