Twenty One

"Nothing fits!" I shouted throwing the dress on the ground.

"Yo princess, what's taking you so long?" Jupiter asked coming into my room.

"I can't fit anything Jupiter, nothing I have fits." I said starting to feel the tears well up in my eyes.

"Aww, don't cry Tee." He said coming over to me and grabbing me into a hug. "You know you don't have to wear a dress, you know mama wore sweat pants to mine." He said making us laugh.

"Look what I found." I picked up my head from his chest seeing Gloria walk in with a baby pink Dress.

I gasped placing my hands over my mouth.

"Gloria it's Beautiful!" I squealed walking over to her and touching the dress.

"This is the same dress I wore to my baby shower when I was pregnant with Eric." She smiled. "And now, it's yours."

"Pink? She's having a boy." Jupiter said scrunching up his face.

"Jupiter." I said side eyeing him.

"Get dressed girl. Everybody's waiting on you." She kissed my cheek and walked over to Jupiter. He looked down at her and she grabbed his cheek and pulled him out with her.

"Okay! I apologize!" He said reaching to close the door behind him.

I sighed and laid the dress on the bed and went into my closet picking out a pair of shoes.

"Baby!" Eric shouted walking into our bedroom.

Yes, Our bedroom. The day after I came home from the hospital him, Johnny, Jupiter and my dad moved all my stuff into his house and all my furniture into the guest house where my parents and Jupiter were staying.

"Yes?" I said coming back into the bedroom with my shoes in my hand.

"Why you not dressed? Everybody waiting on you." He said sitting on the bed watching me slip my big T-shirt off and grab the dress of the hanger.

"Babe, nothing fits. I was having a break down and if it wasn't for your mom I would've died." I told him slipping the dress on.

"Baby, I told you that I would take you shopping, but you didn't want to." He said laying back on his elbows.

"Because I had just came home from the hospital and I was super tired. Your kid takes up all my energy you know." I said looking into the mirror.

I loved the way the dress looked on me, my baby bump was well put on the spot and the soft baby pink really gave my skin a glow.

"Well, you only got three and a half more months." He smiled. "Girl yo ass getting phat! Jesus!" He got up coming behind me and giving it a nice hard smack.

"Oh wow, thanks." I said looking down at my hips and how they've spread, Thanks to the baby.

"Aw Toni c'mon you know I ain't mean it like that." He smacked his lips turning me around. "You look gorgeous and  You you know that." He said before he leaned in and kissed my lips.
