Twenty Six

"Shit!" I hollered rubbing my stomach as the pain shot through my lower abdomen. "Get him out! Please get him out!" I shouted with tears coming down my face.

"Baby you need to calm down." My mom said rubbing my arm while I laid in the hospital bed.

"This shit hurts!" I yelled at her.

"Nobody told you to get pregnant." Jupiter said eating the ice chips the nurse had brought me.

I looked at him and Danielle smacked the back of his head.

"Boy if you don't shut yo ass up." My dad said rolling his eyes at him.

I had been in labor for at least twelve hours and Eric and Johnny still hadn't landed from their trip to Florida which worried me. He needed to be here.

I rubbed my belly to keep calm but this little boy in here was making that hard for me because he wanted out, and I wanted his ass out now.

I was offered an epidural but I said no at first because I was only dilated to three centimeters and I had seven more to go so I figured I could get through the pain. Shit, four hours later I was seven inches dilated and I asked for it again and they told me no. I was hot.

"And stop eating all her damn ice!" My mom reached over and snatched the cup from Jupiter making some of the ice fall.

"Please stop yelling!" I shouted.

"You were just yelling though." My dad said.

"Daddy!" I snapped.

"My bad princess." He laughed.

"Danielle where are they! He was supposed to be here an hour ago!" I cried looking at my phone seeing no calls or texts from him.

"Johnny said they just landed." She said looking at her phone.

"Relax baby, close your eyes and relax." My mom said rubbing my hair.

Now, me and my mom haven't been on the best terms but right now, I need her the most. I really appreciate that she's here when I'm bringing my greatest accomplishment into the world.

So I did as she said and closed my eyes relaxing.

"Jesus Christ!" I woke up sitting up clutching my stomach.

Everyone was sitting in the room with me except the one person I wanted to see. Johnny sat in the far corner next to Danielle and Jupiter while my mom and dad sat next to me on my left side.

"Where is he!" I asked looking around.

Jupiter opened his mouth and before he could say anything the door opened and Eric walked in with a large styrofoam cup.

"Baby!" I whined opening my arms for him.

He smiled and walked over to me placing the cup down on the table and wrapping his arms around me.

"How you feeling baby? You ready?"
He asked placing his forehead on mine.

I pouted my lips and shook my head.
