"Hey, mom." I spoke through the phone while I stared at Noah taking photos of the nature.

"How is Denali?" she wondered.

I could tell she was missing us. After all, this was the first-time Luca and I had ever been away from them.

"It's absolutely beautiful here. We get to go out, even when the sun is out. and don't worry, we double check out surroundings." I reassured her. "How's everything in Forks?"

"Well, Bella delivered the baby three days ago."

"Renesmee or Edward Jacob?" I asked.

"Renesmee. She's beautiful." Carla replied. "Edward took Bella out to hunt. Oh, and something else interesting happened!" her voice perked up.

"Can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss the drama." I chuckled. "What else happened?"

"That wolf friend of hers-"

"Jacob?"

"Yes. He imprinted on the baby." She squealed.

"Wow, how did Bella react?" I questioned.

"She doesn't know yet." She replied, and then in the background I could hear Nicola asking how we were.

"When are you going to visit?" a familiar voice asked.

"Alice?" I smiled.

"You have to see Renesmee. Come and visit already!" Alice begged.

I let out a laugh, "We'll be visiting in two weeks. We've got this thing."

I continued talking with Carla and then Nicola, and after a while we hung up. I strolled outside and leaned my head on Noah's shoulder as he stood against the tree. He wrapped his arm around me and we kissed. I filled him in on the drama over at Forks. Noah was opening a gallery in Homer, Alaska and we'd be leaving tomorrow to meet up with his agent. His art gallery was going to be showcased for four days. Potential buyers would be showing up and Noah was nervous, so he spent his time photographing the same things over and over.

"You'll do great, babe." I smiled as I rubbed his back.

"What if I don't sell anything?" he asked.

"You will. And if you don't, we can just rob a bank!" I joked.

He chuckled. "I think everyone will pay attention to only your art."

My art was going to be like an opening for his show. It was his idea but the show was mostly for him. Luca and Natasha were out hunting, and having the time of their lives. I liked being here, home, with Noah. With it being just the two of us, it felt like we were growing old. As we stared off into the mountains, I couldn't help but think that, if human, Noah and I could've started our own little family out here. It was nice to dream.

Over the course of the next four days, Noah's nervousness had calmed down. Three of my paintings were sold by the second day, and the fourth painting was sold on the last day. Noah sold all, but one, of his photos. The one that didn't sell was priceless. At least that's what Noah said. It was a photo of me. the first time Noah ever saw me. A shadow had casted over everyone around me, but a small hint of sun was on me. I was smiling at the ground, and remembering that day, I had smiled because it was just a good day.

The rest of the week was spent hunting as a celebration. We were roaming the forest when we saw an abandoned wolf pup. He seemed to be starving, and when Noah and I walked towards him, he started growling. I watched as Noah softly moved his lips. Saying something in his mind, but mouthing it. The wolf pup slowly walked towards Noah, and then into his hands. I hadn't seen anyone with this power, but Noah had it. His ability to control animals.

We stopped at the nearest store and bought deer meat which the wolf pup enjoyed so much. I spoke to Noah about thinking he had an ability, but he was in disbelief.

"What were you telling the pup when we were in the forest?" I asked.

"What, why? You heard me. I was telling him that it was okay, we were good people." Noah replied.

"Noah," I shook my head. "You didn't say any of that out loud."

His brows furrowed, and then I grabbed his arm and quickly went out of the house. I heard the pup growl as soon as I grabbed Noah's arm, but we were out the door before the pup could do any harm to me.

"Why are we out here?" he asked.

"Call an animal." I demanded. "Just to test my theory."

"Fine." He shook his head. "Any animal you prefer?" he joked.

I rolled my eyes. "Just call over a goat or something."

I stared at Noah and he closed his eyes, mouthing something. I then heard rustling coming from the trees, and suddenly there was a moose who started yelling when he saw Noah. Noah opened his eyes and was astounded.

"Well, it's not a goat, but that's a start." I replied.

"I know, I called a moose over just to humor you." He replied, frozen in shock.

We spent the rest of the afternoon practicing. He was commanding the moose to do things, but then he said he could tell the moose wasn't liking it. Noah felt the moose's feelings. So, we moved over to the wolf pup who didn't mind. Soon, Noah didn't have to close his eyes or mouth. I was so excited for Noah, having one of the first ever abilities like this.
