Not So Innocent (EGASS sequel)

Chapter 1 - Lizzie

LIZZIE POV

“WE’RE GOING ON TOUR!”

I scream the words at the top of my voice after reading the letter in front of me. I hear running upstairs and I know that any second now Lili, Gabby, Noah, Logan and Joe will all come running down the stairs.

All 6 of us had decided to move in together after graduation and now, 2 months later, we’re all settled and living the life of a band. Well, apart from Noah. He’s just here for Lili. We had let out our first CD just a month ago, titled ‘Screaming Innocence’ after our band name, but already we’re being followed by fans and paparazzi.

 Our fans have even made up a name for themselves! They call themselves Screamers on Twitter. Speaking of twitter, I have over 2,000 followers now! I have the whole of 1 Direction following me! Also, Gerard and Mikey Way from MCR are following us! I think Joe and Logan got a bit annoyed after two days of non-stop giggling from Gabby and me.

“WHAT?!” Gabby and Lili scream as they reach me, jolting me out of my thoughts. I give them the letter and they read it themselves before screaming in happiness along with me. All three of us are jumping up and down like dorks.

The boys arrive and I throw myself at Joe, kissing him happily. “We’re going on tour, Joey!”

Joe laughs and spins me around, hugging me. “I heard you the first time, Liz! This is great news!”

I spot Noah trying, and failing, to calm Lili down. She’s about 4 months pregnant and Noah’s being even more protective than before when she was pregnant with Chase Colton’s baby. I’m pretty sure it’s because it’s actually his kid this time. I can’t believe that this is the same Noah Patterson who used to smoke and get nicked every other week for fighting in school. Lili’s turned him into a right softie now. But bad boy Noah is in there somewhere. He’s come out to play plenty of times when fans, especially guys, try to get too near Lili.

“Lili, love, could you please calm down?” Noah asks pleadingly, holding Lili’s hands.

“No! We’re going on tour! I will not calm down!” Lili tells her boyfriend firmly and we all laugh at her stubbornness.

“I know Lili but you’re pregnant! Speaking of which, are you sure that going on tour is the best idea for you?” Noah asks. He gulps when he sees Lili’s murderous expression though. He backtracks quickly and says, “Of course! We’ll just take someone with us to keep an eye on you and the baby!”

Lili’s glare softens slightly but I can see that she’s in a mood with Noah for being so over-protective. Lili’s used to going crazy and living life to the full. Now she’s pregnant, Noah’s not letting her do much and I can tell it’s killing her. But she’s not done anything too crazy since she found out she’s pregnant again. I think it’s because she doesn’t want to go through the pain – emotionally and physically – of having a miscarriage again. When she lost Chase’s baby, she didn’t know what to do with herself for about a month. If she loses Noah’s baby... I hate to think of what might happen to her.

Logan is reading through the letter himself while Gabby swings his hand happily. Those two are the cutest couple ever! They only got together 2 months ago but they had liked each other for ages! For about 6 months though, it was really awkward between them because they nearly kissed but Gabby ran away. I have no idea how they avoided each other for 6 months! I can’t go a day without talking to or texting Joe. I think my dad’s actually the most supportive of Joe and me living in the same house. It’s only because he pays my phone bill and he’s sick of my 2 hour phone calls to my boyfriend each night.

Logan frowns as he reaches the end of the letter. He puts his fingers in his mouth and whistles loudly to get our attention before saying, “There’s a note on the back of this letter. Daz wants us to go to the office as soon as we get this. Apparently he wants to talk to us about something.”

“It’s probably only the rules or something.” Gabby shrugs, “But we better go get dressed then. Daz is the most impatient person in the world!”

We all agree and we head for our rooms to change. Daz is our agent. He’s really called Darren but he hates his name so everyone calls him Daz. All the boys call him Darren to annoy him though.

I pick out a pair of ripped, white skinny jeans and a bright green top. I put my make up on then go to see if Joe’s ready. It takes us longer to get ready these days because none of us want the press to get a picture of us looking like crap.

“Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, J-” I giggle as Joe cuts my chant off by kissing me. I kiss him back, grinning, before he pulls me into his room. I notice he’s topless and take the chance to check out his abs. My boyfriend may be the quietest of the band but he definitely works out the most! Not that I spy on him or anything when he’s in our personal gym...

I pout as Joe pulls on a plain white shirt and covers up his delicious body. He notices my face and chuckles as he puts his arm round me and leads the way out the room.

“Don’t worry Liz; you can stare later when I’m in the gym!” He winks at me as I blush slightly. Damn it! I was hoping he wouldn’t notice me! Ah well, at least I can just join him in the gym now and openly stare!

“Whatever.” I grumble before shouting, “We’re leaving now! If you’re not here in 2 minutes, we’re leaving you here!”

Logan and Gabby run down the stairs, hands laced together, and stop in front of us. I look at the stairs before asking, “Where’s Lili and Noah?”

“Here!” Noah says as they descend the stairs. From the look of it, they had been in the middle of a make-out session when I called them. Typical. Lili might be pregnant but she still pounces on Noah whenever she can. I’ve never heard Noah complain yet either.

“Ready?” I ask as we all automatically put our sunglasses on. Everyone nods and I see Noah nudge Lili into the middle of the group protectively before I open the front door. I take Joe’s hand before walking out into the chaos that is the paparazzi.

Helloooo everyone! I know it’s a bit later than I promised, but here is the sequel to Evil Glares and Sexy Stares! (Or EGASS as we call it!) Alex, Emily and I have missed all you lovely people! We’ve edited the first 3 chapters of EGASS and will be editing the rest soon! I hope this is ok as a first chapter! Emily is next and her chapter will reveal what Daz wants! Oooh!
