I honestly can't really make out what had happened after Marcus, the commander, dragged me out of the room.
I was sat in a small room with four other teens around my age. They all were sat far from each other, each reading some book. I had one as well. I also have my journal, surprisingly. Supposedly we had to read the other book but I obviously didn't even bother to do it.
All I did was observe the room and the people in it. The room looked similar to the one I was in before but it was wider and had more light.
It also had a couple desks and chairs that a girl with blonde hair and pink tips sat in, reading but every now and then she would look up from it and observe each person.
When she got to me, we just kind of stared at one another. Her eyes were a bright blue color and she wore eye makeup and pink lipstick. She then smiled and went back to reading. She honestly seemed nice.
Sighing, I look to the far left of her and see a boy with brown curly hair. He was in a criss-cross position and had his head resting on his hand as he turned the pages of the book in his lap.
I couldn't really make out his facial features because he was looking down.
I looked at him a little longer, hoping he'd look up but he didn't so I darted my eyes to a girl that was about ten feet away from me.The girl had her legs stretched out and her head was lying against the wall, her silver hair falling slightly over her shoulders.
I could tell that she probably wouldn't be as nice as the blonde headed girl because of the bad vibes I get from her.
I guess she sensed me staring and quickly turned her head to me, glaring with her brown eyes.
After I looked at her eyes for a couple more seconds then I should have been, I noticed she had a green tint to them. She scoffed at me and turned the opposite direction of me.
I look down at the book.
The title said "How to survive". I looked at it humorously. Scoffing and rolling my eyes i flip through the pages.
Halfway through reading it, the door opened. We all looked up and saw Marcus with two other guards behind him.
He walks in, the guards close behind him, and the door shuts behind him. The guards held guns and we're in position to attack. Marcus stood in the middle of the room and looked at all of us.
"So, I'm guessing you guys want to know why you're here, correct?" he asks while motioning his hands at us.
The girl with silver hair quickly stands up and when she does that the guards are quick to move in front of Marcus and point the guns at her.
"Chill, I'm not going to hurt your little leader." She laughs. "I want to hear what he has to say on to why we're here. "
Marcus signals the guards to lower the guns and to back up.
"Okay, well I have chosen you three," he points to everyone but me. "because of the crimes you have committed. You all seem to have a decent abilities for fighting."
Asshole. How's he not gonna point at me?
"What about me?" I blurt out, standing up.
"You're here because of you being the first person to be born when your parents already had a child. "
Wow. Way to out me in front of a room of people I don't know.
"That doesn't explain as to why we're here. We should be locked up. " The boy with brown curly hair says.
He also decides to stand and when he looks up at Marcus, I finally get to see his eyes. They are a bright green color.
"Yes, that's what we would usually do but I and others have made a plan that involves all four of you." Marcus says.
