"Our topic today?" Flint says, picking up a sharp blade from the weapon table. "Combat."

Things at the Fire would be a bit different today. Today, Flint would be evaluating all of the Fires's in the military by assisting and watching the soldiers. These used to be weekly, but since the meeting, things have changed a bit.

"Uriah, come here." he says, snapping. It was obvious that he wasn't in the mood for distraction or mistakes.

Uriah picks up a blade similar to Flint's but obviously wasn't as confident as he in his actions.

"Now...there are a few things you should always keep tensed." Flint instructs, and lightly presses the blade to each part. Uriah doesn't even flinch, which causes Flint to grin. "Another thing to keep in mind, is to never show a hint of emotion. Your enemy can read your eyes like a book." He says.

Flint grabs Uriah by the shoulder and goes to throw him to the ground when Uriah slips from his grip and kicks his side. Though Flint wouldn't usually let him do so without a fight, he lets Uriah knock him to the ground.

"You don't worry about who the person is." Uriah says, now taking over. "If they're willing to take your life, you must be willing to do the same. At the same time, a person can't look like a person in your eyes. If you think about them actually having a family, friends, a love, you'll instantly grow vulnerable. You see them as your enemy and nothing else, or you'll be taken advantage of."

Flint then takes his blade, and stabs it directly through Uriah's ankle. Uriah drops to the ground, masking his pain as best he could. "And lastly...don't get distracted. Any questions?" He asks. "Great. Begin."

(For those of you who are hiding out in Fire, your job is to blend in with them.)
