chapter- 16

Lisa

My eyes went wide as mom began to sob loudly. " who had  done this to our Ray " cried mom. I know who has done this , the ghosts of this mansion. Why they are doing this? I immediately took out my phone and dialed the ambulance number. Soon the ambulance reached our mansion and took Ray in to the bus. "Lisa you stay here and when your dad comes then you both come to the hospital. "
" no mom! " I cried. I don't want to stay in this mansion alone!

" Lisa try to understand, if your dad comes and found there is no one in the house he will be furious " said mom. I groaned at this. Suddenly we heard a booooooom! " What's that? " I said . Then huge drops of rain droplets fell from the sky. Mom looked at the window. "We must leave " she said and locked the door from outside.
" when dad comes he will open the lock from the keys and everything will be all right " she said from outside and went to the ambulance and soon the ambulance faded from my site.

Just then all the lights went off and there was complete darkness. Short- circuit occured due to heavy rain and even all the streetlights went off.
" great " I mumbled and went to my sofa and took out my phone and dialed dad's number but the phone was not working due to short- circuit.
Oh! I am feeling so lonely. In my life I have never feared darkness and now I am scared of this darkness! Suddenly I heard a knock from my door.

Lisa's mom (clarissa)

Soon we reached the hospital and Ray was admitted in the ICU. I sat on the bench and dialed Josh' s number but the phone was not working due to short- circuit. I groaned heavily and closed my eyes. What is happening to my kids? Ever since we shifted to this mansion strange things are occuring.
I heard from one local people that our mansion is haunted.

Is it true?

Then someone patted my shoulder, I opened my eyes and to my surprise Lisa was there sitting next to me. I gave her an angry look. " what are you doing here , you were supposed to be in home " I said angrily. If Josh comes and finds out there is no one at home , God knows what he will do!

Hey! Wait a minute

Lisa was inside the house when I locked it .

How did she came here, that's means Josh is here too.

" where's dad " I asked looking for him.
" dead" she replied.
" what nonsense you are speaking! " I shouted getting up from the bench. But to my surprise there was no emotions on her face and what happened to her eyes?

They are pitch black!

I looked at her eyes closely. " what happened to your eyes? " I asked. She was quiet. " dead dead, everyone will die die die die and she was speaking continuously . " Stop it! " I shouted and slapped her face. She became quiet and bented her head.

I sighed and the doctor came out from Ray's room.

" how's my son? " I asked nervously.
I froze when the doctor looked at me. His eyes were pitch black. " what's your son's name? " he asked in an icy tone. " Ray Blake " I said slowly. " he was admitted in which room ?" he said in that same icy tone.
" That room from where you just came " I said. " there is no one in that room, it's empty " he said.

" What! " I shouted and went to that room but to my horror there was no one there.

" where is my son? " I shouted. But the doctor took no notice of me and was quite. " Hey doctor, where is my son Ray? " I shouted at them again but he ignored me and began to talk with the nurse. I grabbed the nurse's arm, " My son Ray Blake was admitted here, you have even typed his name in the computer " I said.
The nurse looked at me and nodded.
Her eyes were pitch black too.
I looked at other nurses and doctors, there eyes were pitch black too!
She looked at her computer and spoke " Mam, there is no person named Ray Blake saved on the computer "
"What!?" I screamed and went to her computer and looked at the screen, to my horror there was no name of Ray!
" but he was admitted here " I said my voice trembling.
" Mam you are mistaken, there is no boy named Ray Blake admitted in our hospital " she said.
" HE WAS ADMITTED HERE! " I cried and tears fell from my eyes.
" you are mistaken " she said again and continued to talk with the doctor.
Suddenly my phone rang.
It was from Lisa!
I looked at the bench where Lisa was sitting motionless. I picked up the phone.

"Hello "
"Mom, it's me Lisa , dad hanged himself! "
"What!?"
"Yes, when he came home he straight away went to the bedroom and when I checked him he was already dead! "Said Lisa sobbing.
" noooo " I screamed and then the phone was disconnected. I tried to dial again but the phone didn't work due short -circuit. I looked at Lisa who was sitting like a motion less person.
How could Lisa call me if she is in the hospital with me?
I asked Lisa in a firm tone.
" who are you? "
She looked at me with her pitch black eyes and grinned at me.
"you all will dieeeeeeee " she said and vanished into thin air!
I gasped and blinked my eyes. She just disappeared in front of me!
I think I have made a huge mistake in leaving Lisa alone in that mansion .

Lisa

Someone was knoking the door
Could it be dad? But why would he knock if he had the keys?
" It is locked from outside " I shouted.
Then the door opened automatically and a there was a figure standing.
"Dad " I screamed and went to the door but to my surprise there were four children standing, all of them had pitch black eyes. They looked like they were 6 to 7 years old.
"Who are you " I asked.
One girl said "we are the students of miss Clara Rose ."
