Chapter 10

"Ah!" I shot up in bed, dripping wet and cold. I glared at Mariana, who was standing above me with a huge grin on her face. "Asshole," I muttered, getting out of bed. I glanced at my sheets and then walked to the bathroom. "Hey!" Mariana called. That's when I noticed the shower was on. "I was going to take a shower!"

I smirked at her. "I guess you should think twice about waking me up so early, then," I sassed, adn slammed the door in her face. I took a long shower, just to annoy her, and got out. I brushed my teeth and cleaned out my ears before walking out of the bathroom holding my nightie with my towel wrapped around me.

Mariana glared slightly before going in the shower next. Olive and Lissa were still asleep as I got dressed. I put on my customary basketball shorts, and a Bowling For Soup shirt. I brushed my wet hair and braided it with a little diffuculty.

I got out a pair of jeans shorts and a blink-182 shirt for Mariana. By the time she got out of the shower, I was already making something for breakfast. Nutella and Bananas on toast. I made us each two slices. I made sure to put a lot of Nutella just the way we like.

After we ate breakfast, we said bye to Lissa and Olive, who were just getting up, and we made our way to class. She has AP Social Studies, and I have AP English.

After my classes in the morning, I drove over to work and stocked some clothes. First, I stocked the bathing suits, then tank tops, and finally babies' clothes. Right when I was about to finish, a middle-aged woman came up to me.

"Excuse me, but I couldn't help but recognize you. Can I have your autograph?" she asked me. I looked at her in surprise. I glanced behind me, then back forward. "Me?" I asked timidly. She nodded, holding out a piece of paper to me. I glanced at her face, then grabbed the pen she was holding out to me.

"Might I ask why I'm signing this for you?" I asked. She clapped her hands excitedly. "I read you story; Noticed, and I loved it! When are you going to get the sequel out to us? You left me with such a cliffhanger," she said, giving me a mock glare. I widened my eyes in surprise. "I didn't realize people even read that thing," I said, writing my name on the paper.

She moved the huge bag of Skittles she had in the crook of her arm to the other side. "Oh, a lot of people do!" she said. "I can't believe you wrote that at such a young age! It was brilliant!" I blushed at her words. People actually read my story? I thought those books just went in the bargain section in TJMaxx.

I handed her the paper back. "About the sequel..." I started. She moved her face so that it was about a half a foot away from mine. "It's going to be short, but I think you're going to like it." She squealed. "Is it going to come out soon?" she asked. I nodded. "I'm almost finished with it," I said. She grinned widely. "Great!" she said. "Do Damen and Isabella get together!?" I smiled slightly. "Um, read and find out," I said. Teaser alert! They do.

After work, I drove back to campus to do some homework. About an hour and a half of that, I wrote some of my story. "Ooh, you're writing the sequel?" Lissa said, walking into the dorm. I rolled over in my bed, closing my laptop halfway. "Yeah," I said. "Can I have a few teasers?" she asked. I shook my head, holding back a laugh.

I glanced at the clock and sat up. Almost time for practice. I saved the document and filled my water bottle. I said a quick goodbye to Lissa, noticing that it was the first time I didn't see her with Olive. I wonder where she is?

I walked into the gym and set my water bottle down.I walked to the line and gave a short yawn. Last night was a late one. Wes came up behind me and slapped my back. I didn't move. "Hey, Savannah," he said. "You look tired." I gave a short laugh. "Yeah," I said. "That party went on forever last night." He looked at me weirdly. "You were there?" he asked. It hurt a little that he didn't recognize me, but, then again, who would?
