Mark's P.O.V
It felt awkward now, after that first and last kiss with Jessie. Do I even have the guts to come to school and see her? What about Alex? How would I know if he kissed Jessie? Or she kissed him? I wouldn't care, would I? Anyway, that kiss with her is the first and final kiss. I'm going to have to get over it, or can I?
Time for school, great. I headed into my bathroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth. Then, I changed into a long sleeve grey shirt, black cargo pants and my Converse shoes. I combed my hair and then sprayed on Axe cologne. I grabbed my Jansport backpack and clomped downstairs. I smelled pancakes and coffee. I hurried towards the dining table and grabbed a pancake and stuffed it in my mouth. I'm such a pig, huh? My parents looked at me with a weird look and just continued to eat. My little sister laughed and I ruffled her hair. I forgot, my sister's name is Mikayla. She looks like me a little. Brown long hair and same colored eyes. "Honey, why didn't you just get a fork? For the pancake." my mother asked as she poured my dad a cup of coffee.
"Too lazy." I answered. I glanced at my watch. "Oh, gotta go! Seeya Moms and Dads." I gave my little sister a kiss on her head and headed outside for another day at school. I didn't know why I call my mom "Moms" and my dad "Dads". I don't have two mothers and two fathers. Anyways that didn't matter right now, All that mattered is Jessie and what will happen today at school.

I headed to Creative Writing which was my First Period. I sat down in my group besides my elbow partner, Alex. I glanced up and I saw Andy talking to Jessie. She smiled after every word that came out of his mouth. I didn't need to care anymore. I had my first kiss with Jessie and that's it. I know she'll never be my girlfriend. But, I loved her. After all these years we've spent together. I glanced at Alex who was staring at them, but with a sorrow face. What's up with him? Well, what's up with me?! I need to control my feelings for people. Especially people I've known for a while, like Jessie, Alex, and Andy.
"Hey guys. Andy's throwing a party at his house. I'm going. What about you guys?" Jessie asked us as she glanced at me and Alex. She was smiling and I could tell she wanted to go and not hear of my whining. I nodded and Alex, he didn't answer. Jessie looked at him.
"Alex? You're not going?"
"No, I need to study for my History Benchmark." he answered as he looked down at his paper.
"Oh, well that's good, right?"
"Of course it is!"
"Alright, so when's the party Andy?" Jessie asked as she looked back at Andy. Andy placed his arm around Jessie's shoulders and smirked. I nearly clenched my fist because of maybe the jealousy consuming me inside.
"Tonight. I hope you make Jessie. I'll be waiting for you."
Jessie blushed and Andy finally pulled his arms away. Great, he's preparing to make her his girlfriend at his party. I swear I will go to that party and prevent him from kissing her.
