3rd person P.O.V
"Guys.........?" Jessie's small cracked voice filled the room. The three worried boys looked at Jessie with wide eyes of surprise. Jessie's eyelids were being forced opened by her.
"Je-Jessie?!" Andy said loudly as he squeezed her hand with excitement that she woke up. Alex gasped softly and he squeezed Jessie's hand. Mark stood motionless, but inside he was happy that she was finally awake. "You're awake."
"Where am I?" she asked as her eyes scanned the white room. Her eyebrows scrunched and her eyes laid on Mark.
"You're in the hospital, Jessie. You got hit with a car. You're gonna be fine, I promise you." Andy assured her as he softly kissed Jessie's forehead that was blocked with a bandage that was wrapped around her head. "Do you remember anything that happened before this?"
"Uhm.......yeah. I do. We were at a party-and you were fighting with Mark, right?" she answered
Andy hesitated, but he replied. "Yeah...." Mark looked away towards the ground so he wouldn't have to talk about it.
"Jessie, it's my fault you're in this condition. I should've stopped you when you ran past me at Andy's party." Alex said. Andy looked at him.
"Alex, I said it isn't anyone's fault. We aren't blaming anyone."
Alex opened his mouth to reply, but Andy interrupted. "No comments, please." Andy looked back at Jessie. He stroked Jessie's head with a gentle touch of softness.
Mark finally approached Jessie beside Andy. His eyes filled with sadness and regret. Jessie looked at him slowly while the heart monitor beeped slowly. "Mark...........I appreciate that you're always concerned about me. That's what I love about you." She looked at Andy. "Andy..........you're a really sweet guy. I really hated you when you left me, but when you said that you'll always think of me when you went back to L.A, I started developing feelings for you. I was never over you." Lastly, she looked at Alex. "Alex.........you're cute when you're shy. You're a really good friend to me-and I'll always love you as a close friend."
Andy made a confused face. "Wait, why are you telling us this now?"
Jessie smiled softly and she closed her eyes. "Better late then never, right?" Andy, Mark and Alex looked at her with wide eyes. What wasn't she telling them? Then, suddenly the heart monitor stopped beeping and it became a non-stopping sound that made us lose our breath. The boys glanced at the monitor and we saw a straight line. They quickly looked back at Jessie. Her eyes remained closed and her face became pale and lifeless without color. Alex started hyperventilating and he grabbed Jessie's arm.
"No! No! Jessie.....please!" he said trying to catch his breath with every word. Andy grabbed Jessie's hand and kissed it as he tried to hold in his tears, but they just came running down.Mark had to do something, so he called the nurses. He ran outside the room screaming for any nurse to come to Jessie's aid. They came running inside Jessie's room with a defibrillator in their hands. They plugged in into an outlet and said 'Clear' They told Andy and Alex to move aside. They did as they watched nurses trying to revive Jessie, but suddenly after a few try's, the doctor came in with a stethoscope and tried to hear a heartbeat, but he shook his head slowly and glanced at the three boys. He looked down at the ground ashamed that he couldn't save a life. The boys ran to Jessie's motionless body and started hyperventilating as yelling "Jessie! Don't leave!"

Mark, Andy, and Alex stood over Jessie's coffin as it descended into the ground in a cemetery. Their eyes became watery, but no tears fell. They glanced at each other at the fact that the girl they all fell for have died. They grabbed a flower and threw it onto Jessie's coffin. "Guys.......what are we going to do? I can't even plan on living without Jessie." Alex said as sorrow was found in his tone. Andy and Mark looked at him.
"Alex.........we let jealousy consume us. We never planned to do this. I can't believe I'm saying this, but........we need to move on from here." Mark said as he walked to a cab with Andy and Alex.
"Yeah......you're right." Alex answered as he kicked a pebble from the ground. Andy playfully punched his shoulder.
"Come on, guys. Let try to relive those memories back from Green Garden's Elementary School." Andy suggested. Mark smirked at his suggestion.
"I thought you got amnesia?" he asked as he folded his arms across his chest.
"Yeah, but I remember now. Everything since I was a baby." Andy said as he opened the cab door. Mark laughed.
"Oh really? So, you remember the first time you sh*it you're diapers?" Mark said as he sat at the back seat with Alex.
"Shut up." was all Andy said as he sat at the passenger seat. Alex was chuckling as he stared out the window as the cab started rolling down the road back to town.
The three guys had to rewind everything. They wanted to change the way they acted before their best friend's life was taken, but they knew they couldn't change the past. Whatever happened-happened.
