Dad let the handcuffs hang from his fingers, and Stiles asked, "You want to handcuff me?"

Dad started to walk down the stairs, with me following even more slowly. "If my son is still here, if there's still apart of him standing here in front of me, then he'll put these on willingly and he'll come with us. Because he knows we're here to protect him from himself and from others."

I stood next to them, eyeing Stiles because I knew it wasn't Stiles, but he held his wrists out for Dad to cuff him anyway.

He looked up with an evil look, and I said, "You're not my brother."

Stiles shook his head, pulling so hard he broke free.

Behind me and Dad, Argent, Derek and Allison walked in.

Allison shot a teaser at Stiles, and before it hit his chest, Stiles caught it, the electrical sparks not even fazing him as he pulled and pulled at the wire, and kept pulling until he took it out of Allison's hand, and it bounced off the floor.

Derek growled, shifted as he swung an arm at Stiles, Stiles caught Derek's arm and broke it, forcing his head against the table and throwing him into a wall.

Argent cocked a gun, pointing it at Stiles.

"Argent, listen to me," I said. "Don't do this."

"Why not?" Argent asked. "I've done it before. Werewolves, bezerkers. I can easily add Nogitsune to the list."

Dad pulled out his gun on Argent, and Stiles mouthed 'Oh' as Dad said, "You're not gonna shoot my son."

Argent looked at me. "Stacie said it herself, Sheriff. That's not her brother or your son."

"Put it down," I told him, and he didn't budge. "Put it down."

"Dad, he's going to shoot me," Stiles said. "Stacie, he's going to kill me."

"Don't listen," Argent told us

"Put it down," Dad said. "Put it down. Now! Do it! Put it down!"

"Pull the trigger," Stiles said. "Come on."

"Listen to me," Dad said. "Put the gun down now!"

"Shoot me," Stiles said.

"Dad," Allison said.

"Put the gun down now!" Dad yelled. "Put it down!"

"Shoot me!" Stiles yelled. "Shoot me!"

Argent was about to pull the trigger when I pulled out my own gun on him.

For a week inside Eichen, I had felt so bad, so weak and helpless. Now, with the gun in my hand, I felt strong and powerful.

Argent shook his head. "You wouldn't."

"You're holding a gun to my brother who is locked away inside his own head," I told him. "Do you really feel so confident to test the theory that I won't?"

"Yes," Argent said.

"Try me."

"Stacie . . . " Derek trailed off.

I looked over at him. "What? Stiles is still in there. I know he is." I looked at Argent. "Put it down."

"Strife," Allison whispered.

The sun finally set.

"Put it down!" Dad yelled one last time.

"Stop, stop," Allison told us. "This is what he wants. This is exactly what he wants."

"Not exactly," Stiles said. "I was kind of hoping Scott would be here. But I'm glad you all have your guns out. But you're not here to kill me." He faced the window just as the oni appeared. "You're here to protect me. And Stacie, who they think is me."
