Chapter 5

My face started to burn with embarrassment. Does he really have feelings for me? He called me love and beautiful. Oh my gosh he called me beautiful! I thought to myself. I smirked at him then looked over to see if Lyndsay was still alright. She was and Thomas gently placed her head in is lap and played with her hair. I know she was unconscious but I could see a slight smile on her face. Thomas looked over at me and blushed wildly and smiled while looking down. Her eyes fluttered open and they made full eye contact. She got extremely red when she realized what was happening. He lifted her up to where she was leaning against him and wrapped his arms around her. She nestled her head into his chest while they just sat there in peace.

I looked back down at Newt and he started to slowly get up. While helping his he managed to walk back to the table. Everything seemed almost perfect at the moment despite what just happened. But it was too good to be true. I got me and Newt's food while Thomas helped Lyndsay but when we sat down to have a for once normal meal, I heard a beeping behind my ear. Trying to feel where it came from, I felt my body go limp and the room went dark. 

Lyndsay's POV:

Riley just did the same thing I just did. She passed out them came back looking like a demon. A soft glow started to radiate off of her and tables started to lift off the ground. She scaned the room but when her eyes landed on me a dead look went across her face. Oh God... I was thrown across the room slammed through the double door of the room. Groaning I looked up just to see her floating right above me. Thomas and Newt right behind her. I knew I couldn't do anything to save myself. She's so much more powerful than me. Even if I tried to shock her in this state she would just deflect it. Come on Lyndsay! Think of all the powers she has. What is something that will calm her down like for me! Then it hit me.

 "Thomas! Newt!" I yelled while signaling for them to come over. "Okay guys I have a plan. So you know how she can predict our next move. Well it only works for so much. I remember that one time in the glade she was in a state like this, where she had no control over her powers. The only way for her to stop is to do something that is unpredictable. Something that she would never imagine would happen in her entire life. So so you guys have an idea?" I said. Newt though for a seconded then smirked, "Yeah... I have an idea..." "Okay so what is it?" Thomas asked. "Well I can't bloody tell you, she would know. We all know that her main target is Lynds so if I say it out loud she would hear." "Oh my gosh I'm so stupid." Thomas laughed. "Lyndsay I need to to distract her while I go behind her." Newt said. I nodded my head and ran out. She was attacking Minho while we were planning. Thank you so much Minho! I thought. 

"RILEY!" I yelled she quickly turned then tackled me to the ground. Using all her force to hold me down and punch me. My face was slowly bruising and swelling when all of the sudden she got off of me. Newt grabbed her and quickly pressed his lips to hers. With wide eyes she fell limp to the floor but still conscious. When they broke apart I knew I had the old Riley back. I honestly didn't see that coming either. Passionately kissing her. When they broke apart I knew I had the old Riley back.
