I was running so fast, everything blurred around me. Just trying to get away from the mysterious creature. I sprinted into a passage but it lead to a dead end. Everything was pitch black. All I could see was the glowing red eyes and the small shocks surrounding the dark creature. It was short, around 5'5", it also had long hair. Soon I realized that the creature was Lyndsay. I couldn't be! I told myself, but as much as I wanted to convince myself, it was her. She grew closer at a slow, steady pace. The electric shocks increasing as she came in closer. When she stood right above me with a strong shock accelerating, just as she was about to kill me, I woke up.

The morning light shined through the jail-like window. I was in a cold sweat even though the room was fairly warm. My muscles ached and I felt like I couldn't move. I heard movement down below me and realized Lyndsay was in the room with me. I saw her get off the bottom bunk and look up at mine. Absolute terror spread across my body. I scrambled to get as close as I can against the wall. She noticed my distress and all of the sudden had a sympathetic look spread across her face.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

I managed out a quick mumble, "A-Are y-you L-Lyndsay?"

"Well yea, I'm pretty sure I am." She said with small chuckle.

"W-well if you are then, w-what's my favorite Beatles song? I spit out.

"Hey Jude." She said real calm.

I finally relaxed and scooted myself off the bed. "I'm glad your back." I said with a smile and giving her the biggest hug. She was extremely confused but hugged me back anyway.

"What are you talking about?"

"Do you not remember last night?"

"No, what happened."

"We were separated and put into two different rooms. I escaped my room and ended up in some kind of arena type room. That's when I saw you. I ran to you but I noticed something different about you. You were hunched over, panting, and when you looked at me, y-you had these bright red eyes. You looked like you were beaten. You had cuts and bruises all around your face and body. Cloths were torn and your hair full of static electricity. You looked like a demon. And I thought that you were going to kill me last night. That the one person I trusted my life with would be the one to take it." I said, crying from the horrible memory.

"I-I'm so sorry Riley. I-I-I don't remember any of that. All I remember is being carried through a hall way falling in and out of consciousness. I didn't know I attacked you. I so freaking sorry. So, so sorry!" she said with utter horror and pain spread across her face. She gave me a huge bear hug that was filled with sadness, and love.

Our room door came open and a guard came in and escorted us for breakfast. We did as instructed and headed to the cafeteria. When the doors opened we immediately saw Thomas, Newt, Mino, and the others. We both sprinted to the best of our ability but was prevented by our injuries. Thomas and Newt shot up and sprinted over to us. I was on the floor in horrible pain and remembered that I was stabbed. I gently rubbed my back where the wound was and felt the t-shirt. I winced in pain when Newt came up to help me. He tried helping me up but that hurt me even worse, then he picked me up bridal style and gently carried me to the table where he was sitting. He seemed extremely concerned about me. I looked over and saw Thomas helping Lyndsay. His arm wrapped tightly around her waist. I've always thought that they would be cute together and I knew that Thomas liked her too but Lyndsay told me while we were in the glade that she liked him but said that she was too awkward to talk to him.

"Hey, are you alright love?" Newt asked me. I blushed wildly when he called me love. He's never called me that before. I looked away but I knew he was looking at me.
