Having told her sister the plan, which may or may not had been a bad idea. Ursula was ready to rid herself of her fin. Morgana wasn't hard to convince, she simply wanted the best for her sister. And for her, that was the end of it.
"Wait until sunset" she had told her sister, "when everyone has gone to bed.
Ursula wanted to bring her sister to land for one last goodbye, before she would never see her again.
As the sun set, Ursula's plan was enacted. Morgana swam into the throne room, not waiting for her older sister. Excited to feel the power that the trident possessed.
What she didn't expect to see was Red, her step brother, flirting with his fiancé. Morgana grit her teeth. She was in-agreement that Ursula should have been the one to take the throne.
Morgana charged at him, full speed at the trident. She gripped it in her hands, trying to get the powerful staff away from him.
Athena beside herself, not knowing what to do. She reached for Morgana's fin, trying to keep her from killing the king to be.
Ursula, finally stepping in, just a moment to late. The trident had struck Morgana on her head, letting out a bright light of what looked like electricity from eels.
Falling to the floor, Red and Athena gasped, staring at the aftermath that was Ursula's sister. Ursula swam after her sister. Settling next to her, Morgana looked ghostly.
"This is your fault!" Ursula shrieked up at her step-brother. Holding her little sister in her arms, and carried her out of the throne room.
Attempting to revive her sister wasn't easy. She wasn't dead, that much Ursula could tell. Just in deep shock. Ursula cupped her sister's cheeks, which were ice cold.
Tears in her eyes, Ursula attempted to call for the doctor, but was denied.
"Why?" She asked, hands on her hips, trying to act tough.
"King's orders, maim." The guard stated.
"The king is dead" Ursula shot back.
"The new one" he said back to her. "King Red"
Raged with anger, Ursula took off for the king's quarters, which had been converted into her step-brother's bedroom.
Paying no mind to the guards "I am still princess!" she claimed, pointing to her tiara.
Entering the new king's quarters, what she saw was something she would never be able to erase from her memory.
Red, laying on top of his fiancé, kissing her, rubbing her, caressing her hair. Ursula, disgusted at the sight, fought to keep her lunch down.
"Are you kidding me?" She screamed, barging in. Athena, covering her bare chest with the blanket, made of sea-weed. "Its no wonder you aren't helping me with your mess. You're too busy up here, getting laid!"
"Get out of here!" Barked Red.
"You two sicken me!" She said, storming out of the room.
At that moment, the young king called for the guards to escort the step-family out of the kingdom.
