 (Laurens's POV)

I sat on my dorm room bed, Alex's arms wrapped around my waist. We had gotten into King's College together, and thankfully had a dorm with each other and another couple. The dorm was simple, a living room when you walk in, and a kitchenette behind it.

There were two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, Alex and I had one and Connor and Evan had the other. In our room, we had two twin beds, but we'd already pushed them together.

I hear a few pings from Alex's phone, he checks it then looks to me. "Hey Jay, the Schuylers want us to head over to their dorm, we're getting together with everyone and their new friends."

"Sure Lexi, think we should text our dorm buddies?"

"Yes, but do not call them 'buddies' you weirdo," was Alex's reply.

I laughed and fake punched him. "You jerk," I stated and wriggled out of his grip.

"You know you love me," he said while grabbing my hips, pulling me down, and pecking my lips. Of course I gave in, he was just too adorable to ignore.

"Fine, c'mon, I'll text Connor, let's head to the Schuylers!"

(James's POV)

"C'mon you two, it'll be fun," Michael tried to persuade Thomas and I to go to the Hamilsquad's reuniting party, but Thomas thought otherwise of the group.

"Nah bro, I'm not one to willingly hang out with Alex and his band of hooligans," Thomas stated plainly.

"Tommy, don't call them hooligans you sound like an old lady," I whisper to him, receiving a small laugh in return.

"Okay fine, you guys can just do absolutely nothing while we go have fun before school starts," Jeremy told us and stuck out his tongue. Michael nodded, and the two walked out hand in hand, laughing.

"Finally! Now that those two are gone what you wanna do?" Thomas asked me.

"Movie night?!"

"I'll start the mac 'n cheese and popcorn, you go pick something out."

I picked out a sappy movie I knew would make Jefferson cry, just so I could get to his "emotional side". He is pretty stolid, unless you turn on a sad movie, and I loved being the one to help him. He has helped me through so much since we became best friends in sixth grade, and I feel terrible I can't do anything in return. So when I cue up a sad movie, I get to be the shoulder to cry on, the anchor to reality, the protective boyf- best friend.

(Peggy's POV)

I was in my bathroom when I heard a loud bang on my door. "Pegs! Hurry up, Squad is coming over in an hour!" Angie practically yelled through the door.

"Kay thanks for the heads up!" I squeaked as I was pulling out my makeup. I had all the works, it just made me feel so much more feminine. Foundation, concealer, contour and highlight, eyeshadow, blush, mascara, and eyeliner were all a part of the normal routine. After about half an hour I though I looked girly enough, then threw on a yellow mini skirt and a white shirt tucked into it.

As I walked out of my room to the kitchenette in my dorm, I heard Martha say, "She's basically pretty enough to turn me gay!" Veronica and Zoe beside her laugh.

"She's perfect enough to make me want to not be asexual," said Zoe. Veronica feigned jealousy and Zoe quickly hugged her.

"Aw, thanks loves," I sweetly say as I pop some toast into the toaster. I'm so glad my friends are supportive of me being trans. Every time they say she, I just want to hug them and never let go.

(Lafayette's POV)

"Let's go mon amo- mon ami! Jared and I have been waiting for forever," I say through the bathroom door to Herc.

"What was that you were about to say Laf?" Jared whispered to me with a raised eyebrow.

"I, ugh, nothing?"

"Tell that to your bright red face!"

"Okay I'm ready guys let's get going," Herc said as he walked out of the bathroom. Oh my god he was really perfect. His strong yet small body always radiated heat, and he smelled like cinnamon. I've been friends with him for forever, but I also have the biggest crush on him. Alex and John tell me to make a move, but I know that he would never like me, so I've settled with being his best friend.
