now i usually dont do author's notes because i find them annoying most of the time, but if you didnt notice dan is a secluded person. we dont know a lot about dan as a person as we do phil. thats going to change if you look at the part where phil calls him handsome.

dan isnt the kind of person who opens up in this au. not even to pj, who's been his best friend and now roommate. pj only knows what hes seen, which is a lot but definitely not all the shit dan goes through.

i felt this was necessary because none of my friends understood what i was doing.
