Ana comes to with Damon at her side talking on his phone making plan changes. She has a pounding head and it takes her a minute to understand why Damon is angrily changing plans.

"No, Damon, I'm good. I can survive a week without you. I'll have Jacob and Trinity alternate nights with staying with me." Ana's soft voice brings an angry Damon to her side. He hangs up his phone roughly and sits by her side gently caressing her hair.

"I can send Tony instead," Damon says standing up once more.

"No, you can't. If you stay, than you will just be proving to your men that they are right." Ana says tiredly. That's the last thing she needs. Things have definitely gotten better, especially after she became Hawk and she has her own people to help guard her, but she can still feel their resentment towards her.

"If you could have sent Tony in the first place you would have. For you to be called out of town for such a long time means something serious. Which means that Tony won't have the authority to deal with it."

"I can give him the authority," Damon tries to say but Ana places her fingers over his mouth.

"If it were Calum, yes. Tony hasn't been in this role long enough to understand how you think and would like things done. Perhaps it's time I returned Calum to you?" Ana thinks out loud.

"It's too early for you to do that, Ana. The men might be yours but others would see you as a target. Those of us that know you, know better, but other's like Spider and his ilk don't. They'd see you as easy pickings and it will be chaos." Damon shakes his head at her offer. Ana has to agree with him. Her men would fight for her, but there is no reason to cause needless death. Besides it would pull Damon into the fight as well and she won't do that.

"Then you better finish getting ready, shouldn't you? When do you leave?" Ana inquires softly. Already the sick feeling she gets when Damon isn't around is starting up.

"In a couple of hours. I'll deal with the issue as quickly as I can and come back immediately." Damon states looking stern.

Ana looks at him inquiringly, "Where are you going?"

"Paris," Damon growls out.

Ana looks puzzled, she's familiar with his group and their workings. Damon made sure of that since she is his heir, but she doesn't see any reason for his going over seas.

"Paris?"

"I have a lead on that bastard that caused the accident that nearly killed you. My informant would only talk to me in Paris though. I don't like this, it smells too much of a trap. You are familiar with everything and Calum will help you with Phoenix group as well as the Hawk should anything happen."

"You wouldn't be taking your girlfriend with you by any chance would you?" Ana asks scrunching up her face. Damon has horrible tastes in girlfriends but this one is worse than the others.

"I had planned to yes," Damon says knowing how much Ana dislikes her.

"I wouldn't if I were you. She's only fifteen, Damon. You'll have the feds waiting to arrest you for kidnapping and rape when you get back. I warned you about her and still you never listen."

Damon stills, "She told me she as eighteen and I even saw her driver's license."

"It's fake. She's a sophomore in high school. Trinity says she's one of the biggest whore's there. Says that she's slept her way through most of the football and basketball teams."

Damon is amused, "Including him?"

Ana shrugs, "I didn't ask, but since he enjoys sex almost as much as you seem to, probably."

"Just his words on it huh?" Damon says dismissively.

Ana gets mad now. "I saw the bitch making out with someone while watching Trinity at practice. You can either believe me or not, but if I'm right you'll be locked up. So take the words of that bitch over mine." Normally Ana doesn't get this worked up over things but normally his girlfriends don't threaten her life either.

Ana gets out of bed and avoids Damon as she goes to the door. "I hope you enjoy jail time, Damon. You know how they treat peds."

"I'm not a fucking ped, Ana." Damon yells out after her.

Ana shrugs, "According to the law you are. You know the laws regarding taking minors across state lines. How do you think they'll react to taking one out of the country?" Ana slips out of her room. She just wants some quiet. She goes to the room Damon had fixed for her to practice her dancing. She loses herself to the music as she calms down.

"Trinity, do you have plans for tonight?" Ana asks diffidently. She doesn't like this vulnerability she has, nor does she like asking for help. It's different with Damon, he never judges her.

"I do have a date, but if you need me to, I can cancel. What's up?" They all know that Damon left and Ana is angry about something to do with his leaving.

"Damon won't be back for a week and I need someone to stay by me. I'll be having you and Jacob alternating and if neither of you can then I'll have to stay over with Jackson." She doesn't like going over there though. Her nightmares make her scream pretty loud and it wakes everyone up. She doesn't see the need to make everyone else miserable too.

"I'll cancel my date," Trinity says and goes to make the call.

"No, don't. I did promise you to not interfere with your sex life. I'll have Jacob stay with me tonight."

Jacob has grown over the summer and has nearly gotten his adult size, but still, Ana never feels as safe in his arms as she does Damon's.

Trinity watches his boss slowly walk out of his room and wishes that there was something he could do for her. She's always like this when she fights with Damon. There are times when it's hard to tell who is older between the two of them. Ana may only be eleven, but she acts even older than Damon and there are times when Damon acts like an old man. Neither one had had much of a chance at a childhood.

"Ana?" She stops and waits at the door.

"What happened between you and Damon earlier?" The rooms were great at keeping things in, but when people need to know things to not be killed, not so great.

"Damon has to go over seas and is taking Jenny with him. I told him that if he did that he's likely going to have the feds waiting for him when he returns, but he didn't listen."

"Does he know that she's threatened your life?" Trinity asks softly. Anytime something has to do with Damon it's best to talk softly.

"No." Ana sniffs, she's trying desperately to not cry. "He didn't believe me when I told him how old she was, so I don't think he'd believe me if I told him she threatened me. Besides, she's no threat to me. She was just posturing. She likes to play with fire with Damon, wants to get burned by the Phoenix I guess."

Trinity goes up to her and gives her a hug. "Damon, would never take a death threat to you lightly. He may hate me, but if I told him about it he'd kill her. You know that."

Ana smiles, and instantly the back of Trinity's neck prickles in fear, "Oh, I have plans for dear old Jenny. Jacob has this obsession with her. I thought he was fully gay, but it turns out he's bi. He wants her and when I get a hold of her she'll be his bonus. At least for a bit."

Trinity looks askance at Ana, "For you to do that, you would have to make Jenny a slave."

"Yes, I know. You should get ready for your date. You should take her somewhere nice." Ana says departing from the room and not looking back at Trinity's stunned face. Ana hates the slave trade with a passion.
