Damon allows himself the luxury of being with Ana, but afterwords the guilt hits hard and fast.

Ana knows Damon all to well and says, "If you tell me that that was a mistake I'll have you escorted off my property."

Ana tries for a hard look but fails completely as tears of uncertainty fill her eyes. Damon pulls her closer and holds her tight. "The only reason it could be a mistake is because I'm old and you are so young. You should have someone much younger than me be with you, like Trinity."

"I told you before all Trinity would be for me is a bed mate." Ana says softly cuddling next to Damon.

"So how do you see me then?" Damon ask more than a little curious.

"I'm not sure. You fight this so much I think this will only be a one time thing, so that makes you a one night stand. Or makes me one of your toys, I'm not sure." Ana says softly not wanting to say the words, yet hating herself when she does.

"You are so much more than a one night stand, Ana. But I am too old for you."

Damon kisses away the tears that fall with his words. There are times when he curses that he is so much older than Ana. About the same time when he curses bringing her into this life.

After that Damon and Ana spent a great deal of time talking and planning. They need some way to bring Snake out into the open. Damon finally convinces her of his plan although she isn't all that thrilled with it.

"How are you going to get me there without the traitor giving away the plans before hand?" Ana demands and it's one of its biggest drawbacks. Ana still hasn't figured out who the traitor is and it's on her end.

Damon smiles and for once the smile makes Ana wary. "My men and I will be coming in and gassing everyone. We'll take you back to the estate unconscious and you'll wake up furious that I brought you back."

"That way the traitor thinks we are at odds with each other." Ana is thinking about this, it might work. "I won't give you the location though." Ana challenges.

Damon smiles a slow seductive smile, "You won't have to."

Ana looks at Damon shocked, "You brought a tracker with you after all?" She is more than a little shocked and disappointed and hurt.

"Nope, we didn't have to. I too went and looked through my fathers papers and found some very interesting information. Someone here has a tracker implanted in them and I have the code. Now it would be easy enough for you to find out who and have it removed, but please don't." Damon is all but pleading with her at this time.

Ana looks at him consideringly and then smiles mischievously at him, "I won't look if you have suits of body armor made for yourself and Jacob." Her smile slides off her face, "Snake will make his move when he knows I'm at the estate for my birthday. I don't want my birthday ruined by losing either of you."

"Very well, and you won't lose me that easily, Ana." Damon avows to the frightened girl before him.

"I've told you before Damon to not make promises you can't keep."

"I don't, Ana. I keep my promises." Damon says seriously.

"Not always. You promised you would never hurt me and you did."

Damon looks down in shame at that, "You're right, I fucked up on that one. I'm still paying for that one and likely will for a very long time. Do you want me to leave?"

"I didn't say that did I? So will you just be taking me or will you be taking others with me?" Ana asks thinking about his plan. "You'll need to hide some men in the outer yard, perhaps get them thermal suits so Snake won't see them if they use thermal imaging, I don't think he will but it's better to be safe than sorry. Have Jonah pay for them from Spider funds. I think that will be the best place for most of Spider's men.

"If you are going to take Hawk's men as well, I think about twenty will do. What do you think?"
And so it went until they have all the plans finalized. They want to make sure that the traitor won't be able to break their code and figure out their plans ahead of time.

"Damon, thank you for coming. You didn't have to and I know it was more than a little inconvenient." Ana says as she tells him good bye nearly a month later. 

During that time Calum had been in complete charge of Phoenix and only giving reports on a weekly basis. 

"Any time Ana, you know that," as Damon gives her a kiss goodbye Ana gives him the drug that will knock him out.

"I'm sorry, Damon, I still have to do this," Ana says even as she injects him.

"I knew your rules when I agreed to come," Damon says smiling sadly at her. "Think about coming home, Ana. I know you think of Hawk's nest as your home, but we miss you at the estate, especially Jackson and his family."

"I can't, Damon, and you know it." Ana denies but she lacks conviction even as the words leave her mouth.

"You have done everything you've set out to do except take down Snake. Just think about it alright?"

Ana nods unable to speak the words. Damon gives her another hug before the drug starts taking effect and he needs to get in the car. "Come visit me, Ana. There are many at the estate that would like to see you."

"Perhaps I will in a few months," Ana says thoughtfully. She watches sadly as the car pulls away from the house and makes its way to the single lane dirt road. She wonders just what Damon has in mind for when his men come to take her for her birthday party. She absently wipes the tears she didn't realize she was crying away.

"Ana? You know that you want to be with him. Why did you send him away?" Trinity asks coming up to the lonely young girl.

"Timing isn't right, Trinity. It all has to do with the timing."

"Trinity? He told you to seduce me if you needed to didn't he?" Ana says sadly.

Trinity is nervous now as to where this is leading. "Yes, he did."

"Will it be a hardship for you to do so?" Ana isn't sure what she wants to hear him say.

"Ana, I told you years ago, that you are sexy. You haven't gotten ugly, only better as you grew older. Believe me when I say neither myself or Jacob will find seducing you a chore. Jacob is terrified that you'll gut us both for trying though."

"Yes, he's seen my work up close and personal and it scarred him." Ana says and goes to walk away when she feels Trinity lightly caressing her neck. She stops and closes her eyes as she enjoys the feelings it invokes.

"Did you wish to take this fully or are you just teasing?" Ana demands as he continues the finger tracing.

"Whatever you wish, Ana." Trinity replies his voice grown husky with desire.
