Chapter twelve

"Mimi-cchi! Were on the big screen!" Kise nudged Ayumi violently, awakening her from her slumber.

"Oh?" She muttered still half asleep, not really caring.

"Mimi! At least show some excitement!" Beamed Kise, who displayed a small pout on his lips.

"Ryouta, shut up." The girl mumbled and slapped him away from her.

Kise piggy backed Ayumi out of his bed, and placed her gently on the couch. He then started to stir some packaged Tofu soup, due to him being an idiot and not listening in his food tech classes. As soon as the scent lingered around the room, Ayumi's eyes shot wide open in excitement and her mouth started to drool. He looked at her hot boyfriend being even hotter whilst he bought a small spoonful of soup to his mouth.

"Let me taste!" Ayumi enthusiastically said, jumping from the couch.

"It needs to simmer for some time, lets visit your mother as we wait ssu," Kise happily suggested, slipping off his apron. Ayumi nodded in approval, as she forced a small smile on her lips. "

Kise and Ayumi were both humming to the radio, "Oh, so about the kiss, how was it?" Kise asked, as a small smirk was smeared on his lips. "It felt, g-good." Ayumi replied, flushed.

Kise left the car to buy some fresh flowers, and on cue Ayumi got a text.

She simply ignored him, and read some of Kise's texts, a she scrolled past a few text messages from people called Aomine Daiki and Midorima Shintaro, which were irrelevant to her, but someone caught her attention. Tora Hanae.

Then Kise walked into the car, with 56 roses, and a card, he made his way to the hopsital, Ayumi and Kise walked into the room, and saw her mother resting there peacefully. Kise left the boquet there and left after bidding some goodbyes. Ayumi gave her mother a few quick kisses before leaving. She bid Kise goodbye and walked home peacefully. When she entered, her dad was lying on the couch, watching a news program, he looked normal, until he turned his head. A monster lay inside of him, a monster waiting to be awoken.

"Hello Father." Ayumi said, whilst making herself some tea.

"Ayumi Sazuki." Her father mumbled.

"Would you like black, green or red tea today father?" She asked, boiling the water.

"Blood." He muttered, in a low voice.

"Blood?" She questioned.

"Your mother has cancer cells inside of her.." He whispered, dangerously low.

"I knew that. Here, your red tea." Ayumi said handing a small tea cup and plate to her father, before making one for herself.

"Ayumi, who did this?" Her father questioned, making eye contact to the glass that was broken.

"Y-you, father." She mumbled looking away.

"I see." He nodded, before taking a small sip of his tea.

"I'm going to go for a walk, father."

"Okay."

* * *

SCHOOL TIME~

"AYEEEEEE NO BAKA!!!!" Tora yelled out of frustration, speaking in fluent Japanese.

"KISE."

"IS."

"EVIL."

"I WILL NOT LET YOU DATE HIM."

"Tora, Kise has changed. If you dont approve, I cant call you my bestfriend anymore." Ayumi stumbled on her words, having a sad expression on her face.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME HUH?"

"YOU WILL ONLY MEET ONE TORA HANAE IN YOUR LIFE, AND I WILL CHOOSE TO VANISH!" She yelled before walking away, and not turning back.
