PRODUCE 51 has a similar format with PRODUCE 101. Trainees will face different missions and receive benefits every time they win in the missions.
Votes by National Producers will be the basis of the debuting trainees. Only 11 out of 51 will be able to debut.
Concept, members, and group name will be determined by the National Producers via votation.

ONLY 10 ENTERTAINMENTS ARE ALLOWED TO JOIN WITH EACH ENTERTAINMENT HAVING A MAXIMUM OF 5 TRAINEES (with exception to BRAND NEW MUSIC & BIGHIT Entertainment with maximum of 6). If the entertainment reaches it maximum number of trainees, applicants should transfer to other agency.

HOW TO VOTE?
FIRST OPTION:
There will be a separate chapter named as "CAST VOTE" wherein the 51 trainees' name will be arranged alphabetically. In order to vote, you must comment in the name of the trainee that you want to vote. One comment is equal to 1 votes (5 votes in live votation during ep11).
SECOND OPTION:
A poll will be created in a separate website which will be linked when the show starts. The names of the 51 trainees will be listed. One point is equal to: 320 votes(Ep1-4), 350 votes (Ep6-7), 360 votes (Ep9), 370 votes (ep10), 380 votes (live vote in ep11)
