Produce 51 started back in June 24, 2017. We published Produce 51 with the thought of just wanting to have our own apply fiction. On the first day, we barely received any forms and applicants. However as time passed, we have been bombarded with tons of forms, reaching up to 70-80+. It was really a happy moment for both the PDs.
Months passed by, from 51 down to 40, to 30, to 22, and now the final 11. The journey has finally ended. Back then we always thought, "Ah I hope Produce 51 ends, it's very tiring and is becoming a burden." But now, we hoped that this lasted longer. We never knew that we would be this attached to our trainees. Produce 51 isn't just your regular apply fiction on Wattpad. We created a certain bond, well we can be considered as a family. Our late night calls (in our timezone lol), PD Woojin dissing the trainees, PD Pinky fangirling, and even PD Yoojung crying in the calls. We share stories, may it be ghost stories, dating experiences, and even our problems, and for us it is the most beautiful bond that we experienced with internet 'friends'.
You don't know how it pained us a bit whenever elimination ceremonies happen. Trainees will leave, friends will leave. However, this is Produce 51. We also faced problems within ourselves, issues that may cause the group to be hella awkward, but the good thing is we dealt with it in a matured manner and fixed it asap before it becomes bigger.

Thank you for constantly supporting Produce 51, spamming really hard, staying up all night just to keep yourselves from getting eliminated. Those nights are gone now.
