Byun Baekhyun: "There were a lot of group names suggested by the trainees of Produce 51, so it was a little bit hard to choose the debuting group's name. However, after a lot of thinking, the final debut name will finally be revealed."

Byun Baekhyun: "The two 'i's represent 1 in 51. But during the old times, it was said that people planted irises over graves of woman to summon the goddess Iris to guide them in their journey to heaven. Similar to the debuting trainees, they will be planting irises in order for them to have a wonderful journey in debuting and walk on the flower path until the end."

Byun Baekhyun: "Produce 51 has finally come to its end. Thank you to all national producers who have given us interest all this time. The 11 members have achieved their dream of debuting under the name 'Iris'. And to the other 40 trainees, it is all just another start for them. I ask all the national producers to support all the 51 trainees with no end."
Byun Baekhyun: "The girl group Iris will be debuting sometime this November and will be promoting until February 2018. Please look forward for their future activities and support them in their debut! All the other trainees who have been a part of Produce 51, please come up to the stage and bid farewell to the national producers!"
