A/N From this chapter on, there has been a huge timeskip to the end of the school year. So now instead of being September in the fanfic, it is June. Easier for me to progress the storyline that way, otherwise it would be really boring just going to school and blah blah blah. It's also June 25th now IRL so, yeah. Aaaaaaanyway, on to the story.

Markiplier's P.O.V

I'm sitting in the living room downstairs with Nate as Olivia walks in, home from school.
"And then I was like 'YOUR MOM!'" I finish saying.
Nate laughs and walks toward Olivia.
"That's Olivia's joke! Better be careful or she'll be triggered!" Nate jokes, putting his arm around her shoulders.
Olivia doesn't say anything and keeps her eyes on the ground.
"Olivia?" I ask, concerned.
Nate looks equally concerned. Without warning, Olivia hugs Nate and starts crying. Nate holds her and asks what's wrong.
"Yeah, and where's Meagan?" I add, instantly thinking something went wrong on their way back from school. Some of these L.A people are pretty sketchy you know.
"Sh- she l-l-l-eft!" Olivia cries out.
I walk towards Olivia and Nate.
"What do you mean she left? Is she okay? Are YOU okay? What happened? Do you need us to call the cops?" I ask.
Olivia sniffles and composes herself as much as she can.
"No, no it's nothing like that." She wipes her eyes.
"She just, I don't know. She said she hated me, that I was annoying, that she wanted me out of her life. She  said she's coming back later to get all her stuff. I asked her where she's going to live, and she just said she's going to get a job and stay in a hotel until she finds a place."
At that moment, Shane walks in.
"WHO WANTS SOME RANDOM CAKE WITH A BUNCH OF RANDOM FOOD ALL OV-" he sees Olivia's smeared mascara.
"Um.... I'm just gonna... go... clean up my mess now..... someone catch me up to speed later." He says, then runs back upstairs.
"Olivia, do you want me to-" Nate starts, but Olivia interrupts him.
"No I don't want anything. I'm just going to go sit in my room." She walks to her room and closes the door.
There's an awkward silence.
"I'm gonna go get some cake..." I say.
"I'm just gonna.... um.." Nate sits back down.
"Yeah...." I say, going upstairs.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~Later that evening~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My (Olivia) P.O.V
I wake up to the front door slamming upstairs, and I know Meagan just got back. As much as I don't want to talk to her, I want to try to straighten things out. I get up off of my bed, and fix my awful makeup. I make sure there's no traces of my tears. I don't want her to know how bad this hurts.
I walk out of my room and see Nate sleeping on the couch in the living room. He must have been waiting for me to make sure I was okay. I make my way upstairs and see the lights are off. Everyone must be in bed. When did I fall asleep? Looking at a clock, I realize it's midnight. I hear noise upstairs (the top floor) and I know it's Meagan packing her stuff.
I walk up the stairs and make my way to Meagan's room. I pause outside her door, and I see light coming from Shane's room. He probably fell asleep watching Glitterforever17 again.
I knock on Meagan's closed door.
"Go away!" She yells.
I try the door, but it's locked.
"Can you just think about this for a second? How do you think everyone else is going to feel?" I say desperately.
"I don't give a f***!" She says. "I'm done talking to you!"
I bang on the door.
"Just let me in! We can talk about this!" I yell.
She opens the door and pushes past me, a backpack on her back and a box in her arms. She doesn't say anything, and I follow her out to her car, asking why she was doing this, could we talk first, this is a rash decision, why do you hate me?, she still didn't answer my questions. After putting the stuff in it, she goes back inside, and brings another box of stuff to her car. Then she gets in her car.
"Wait! Please just tell me why you won't talk to me?!" I yell.
"BECAUSE YOU'RE F***ING ANNOYING! I'M TIRED OF PUTTING UP WITH YOU EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY! AT SCHOOL, AT HOME, I DON'T HAVE ANYWHERE TO BE AWAY FROM YOU! WE NEVER SHOULD HAVE MOVED IN TOGETHER IN THE FIRST PLACE!"
She starts her car.
"And I'm not talking to you at school tomorrow so don't even f***ing bother." With this, she drives away, leaving me standing in our front yard alone. I lean against one of the palm trees in our yard and wrap my arms around myself, tears starting to stream down my face. My best friend just left me. She didn't even care. How could her opinion of me change so quickly? The front door opens and Shane steps outside.
"What just happened?" He asks.
I walk towards the house.
"I don't feel the talking about it...... hey, can I have Cheeto for the night?" I ask, hoping the cat can provide me comfort.
"Okay.." says Shane reluctantly. I feel kind of bad, I know how much he loves that cat.
I head back to my room with Cheeto in my arms and go to bed, but I can't sleep, not after this. I walk to where Nate is still asleep on the couch. I kneel on the floor beside the couch.
"Nate?" I shake his arm a little bit.
He slowly opens his eyes and sits up, blinking at me drowsily for a second before a look of worry appears on his face. He sits bolt upright, his dark brown eyes fixed on my tear- streaked face.
"What happened?! Are you okay?!" He asks, panicked.
"She left." Is all I can get out. Nate takes my hands reassuringly and squeezes them. I sit on the couch beside him and he holds me in his arms as I rest my head on his shoulder. Finally I'm able to sleep.
A/N Hey guys sorry for the long chapter, I hope you enjoyed it. It took me all day to write! LOOSELY BASED on true events. Loosely. (Obviously only loosely, as I don't live with YouTubers in LA, and I don't actually live with Meagan.)
