I walk into the recording studio with Nate. The microphones and camera and all the high tech stuff is already set up.

"Wow!" I say.

Nate thrusts a bottle of water into my hands. "Step one, drink this, all of it, in ten seconds or less."

I laugh. "Are you serious?"

"Yep."

"All of this?"

"Uh huh."

"In ten seconds?"

"Or less."

I stare at him in shock.

"That way you're voice won't give out."

So we both chugged a bottle of water as fast as humanly possible.

"It's been so long since our last duet." I say.

Nate laughs. "It was a month ago. And it was our first duet."

"Well, a month is a whole month!" I say.

"You don't say!" Says Nate sarcastically.

"This coming from the guy that said the atmosphere is atmospheric."

"Touché."

I think back to last month. It was my seventeenth birthday party and there were a handful of my friends and a bunch of YouTubers. Nate was getting set up on the stage, he was the musical entertainment of the night, the comedy entertainment being Mark's one-man play. Nate finally was set up and the curtains on the stage were lifted up, he started playing Mangled, which is my favourite song. He noticed me singing in the crowd and invited me on stage. I didn't want to, but my stupid friends pushed me up the stage steps and before I knew it I was holding a microphone and singing with Nate. I smile at the fun memory.

"What song are we singing?" I ask.

"It's a surprise." He says, smirking.

"If it's a surprise, how will I know what to sing?" I ask.

"You'll know, trust me." He says, and presses record on the camera.

He begins playing his guitar, and I immediately know what song it is, even though it's a little different because it's a rock version, and a smile spreads across my face.

Nate- Boys and girls of every age would you like to see something strange?
Come with us and you will see, this our town of Halloween.
Both-  This is Halloween this is Halloween
Me- Pumpkins scream in the dead of night
Both- This is Halloween everybody make a scene.
Nate- Trick or treat 'till the neighbours come and die of fright.
Me- In this town everybody scream
Nate- In this town of Halloween
Me- I am the one hiding under your bed teeth ground sharp and eyes glowing red
Nate- I am the one hiding under your stairs fingers like snakes and spiders in my hair
Both- This is Halloween this is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween.
Me- In this town we call home everyone hail to the pumpkin song
Nate- In this town don't we love it now everybody's waiting for the next surprise!

We finish up the song and Nate presses stop on the camera. (Sorry guys I'm too lazy to write the rest of the song)
I collapse onto the couch and Nate throws two bottles of water at me.

"Stay hydrated! Drink both of those!" He says.

"Do I have to drink them fast?" I ask, still gasping for breath.

"Only the first one." He smiles. He grabs two bottles for himself and bumps a bottle against the one I'm holding.

"Cheers!" He says, guzzling the whole thing in like three seconds. I stare at him.

"What? I'm thirsty!" He says, making me think of something and start laughing.

"What?" he asks.

"That just reminds me of this one video I made as a little kid- it's on my hard drive, go get everybody and I'll show all of you." I say, walking towards my room.

A few minutes later Mark, Nate, Meagan, and Shane are all sitting around my computer.

"What you are all about to witness is never to be brought up again, and I was freaking eight, so um yeah I was weird." I say.

"On with the video!" Says Meagan.

On the video, Past Olivia is talking about something she did in the video before this one, when she suddenly stops and sucks up her spit, swallows it, and says "Sorry, I was thirsty."

Everyone, including me, erupts into laughter.

"I can see you doing that nowadays!" Says Meagan, to which everyone laughs again.

"Hey!" I say.

"Oh by the way there's a Marshmallow peep cake upstairs if anyone wants leftovers." Says Shane randomly.

A/N Yeah, the Little Olivia video actually happened IRL (Including the 'I was thirsty' thing) which is where I got the inspiration for that part. Also, the song I used was "This Is Halloween" because I was listening to music and it came on and I was like- "Oh! I could use this one!" (Also the music is blasting and I wonder if my neighbours will get irritated. Jk- it's not that loud- is it?)
