"All right, seventh grade girls! Line up here!" Nya called from below. Katrina, Terra, and I all raced down the stairs. I burst out of the building into the fresh air. Everything is just so good here! Katrina whined,
"Shelby broke my nail! I just got a new coat of polish!" I rolled my eyes. I wasn't anywhere near that brat.
"Alright, settle down, I'm sure it was an honest mistake," Nya reassured her.
"Yeah," smirked Terra. "So was that outfit." I chose to ignore her. I turned and bumped into a girl.
"Oof!" We both exclaimed at the same time. I looked up from where I fell and she stood. She had jet black hair, tied in a low pony tail. Her eyes were a dark brown, and her clothes were all black. She wore a sweatshirt and sweat pants with black sneakers. She leant a hand to me with a smile.
"Ha, sorry about that," she said. "Hey, I'm Lily."
"It's ok, I'm Shelby," I replied.
Suddenly, everyone straightened their backs and silenced themselves. Sensei Wu! He came in with his wooden staff.
"Well, what do we have here?" He asked, looking a little curious at Lily and I. "Lily, Shelby, are you ok?" We nodded. "Good. Continue with tour your Nya, while I prepare Lloyd."
"Yes Sensei," Nya replied. Wu walked away slowly. We watched until he turned the corner. Wow. He's awesome! I wouldn't say that though... I doubt he'd appreciate it. Nya and the group began walking away, so I hurried to catch up. We first went into a wide building.
"This is the dining room, where you can hang out or eat pretty much whenever you want. All grades can socialize here, but just be appropriate, pleeeease."
We all gazed at the large room. The floor was tiled with gold, so you could see your reflection. It had tables that could fit ten people each, and there were thirty tables total, more than enough, since there were only twenty people per grade per gender. At this point, while I was admiring this grand room, I had forgotten all about how strange it was that Wu had practically only showed up to check on Lily and I.
Nya lead us out of the room into a stairwell. The building was three stories tall.
"Up on the second floor here, is the library slash research center slash hang out. You can find everything you need to know about all of Ninjago in here!" I was impressed the place, I admit. The ceiling stretched twenty feet high, with a dome shape covering the oak tables, green-cushioned chairs, and shelves you needed ladders to get books with.
Nya lead us to the final room, which was more of a hallway. "Here are the Ninja's, Wu's, and my own dorm. We will most likely be found here when we're not teaching or training." I looked to Lily.
'Wow,' she mouthed.
'I know!' I mouthed back. Nya interrupted my thoughts.
"Hey Lloyd! How are you and the boys doing?"
"Haha, not bad. Hey, want to pair up for the rest of the tour?" Nya nodded in agreement. Lloyd reexplained the purpose of this floor, then we all headed back downstairs. I stuck to the back, and I bumped into a boy (what's with me today?). He turned around.
