Sam's POV

I watch her run down the stairs her Brown hair following her everywhere. A smile on her face even after what we went through. I turn to Jacob flirting with Beth while Alice is alone down there with her ex.

Jacob is a stupid frat boy. I honestly don't see what she sees in him. Jacob turns at me realizing I saw him flirting with Beth. He pulls a finger to his lips  mimicing a hush. I'd never tell Alice anyway, it would break her fragile little heart. It's wrapped in lose bandages covered with bruises.

I remember the midnight fights she and Alex had at summer time party's in middle School. How all of the squad met at a game of spin the bottle in the late 80s. I remember staring into her green eyes as she brushed her Brown hair out of her face, revealing millions of tiny freckles. I remember when she took My hand when it landed on me when she left a peck on my cheek.

I remember how Beth got all the boys when she was crushing over Jacob before dating Beth's brother Alex.
She was chasing after Jacob who was chasing after Beth when all this time I was chasing after her. Eventually I stopped after she brother zoned me. I'm still ok with her company I just wish it was more.

Maybe she's to good for me. I destroy anything I touch. Like that time at the science fair I knocked over all the science fair projects, them falling over like dominos.

I remember Jacob being so pi$$ed, as Alice walked over and introduced herself.

"Hi I'm Alice." She waved flashing a braces filled smile.

I remember when Alex's friends broke my glasses and she handed me tape and simply said.

"All better now" adjusting my glasses.
