Alice's POV
I curl up into a ball and cry myself to sleep. Wake up to warm arms wrapped around my sides. I move my hands out of my way and see Sam, without his glasses he's kinda of cute I place my hands in his hair as he grabs my wrist. I'm still on the faux rug. I turn over and look at Alex snoring loudly on the couch. I stare back at Sam and place his hand down on the pillow.
I walked over to Alex leaving a lip stained redish color on his lips. I walked over to Sam leaving a kiss in his forehead. Bless Sam's soul, he's been through so much.
"Thanks for dealing with my crap." I whispered into his ear.
He grabbed my hand, him still sleeping. I smiled and let his hand go.
I turned off the basement lights and walked out of Alex's house, sneaking past Alex's parents bedroom.
Opening the door to my freedom. I checked my phone. Two missed phone calls from Jacob and 4 from Beth. I stared at my phone for a split second before shoving it back into the bottom of my purse.
Beth's car was gone. I gotta go wake up Sam now. The universe officially hates me now.
