kaixxynn requested this one :)

"No, Dallas. You can't have greasy foods." I sighed, denying Dallas's request for a hamburger. "It'll make you throw up."

Dallas was sick, as in vomiting, and I was trying to maintain the grossness as best as I could. We were at Bucks, and Buck was gone for a few days which left me with Dallas by myself.

Alone with sick Dallas. Great.

"What about some orange juice? It helps my throat." Dallas tried again, with a drink this time.

"I know, baby. But I don't think you could hold it down, so we're sticking to water and saltines for now."

"Y/NNNN!" Dallas whined. "Ple-" Dallas stopped mid-sentence and threw up on the floor. Since all he had so far was water, that's what came up. No smell, just a darkening of the carpet.

(A/N: when he says Y/NNN I imagine it like "Sarah help me")

"Oh, Dally!" I wrapped the blankets around him. I went in to the bathroom and grabbed a couple towels to put on the floor.

Dallas looked at me with puppy eyes. "I'm sorry, doll."

I shook my head. "Its okay, baby. It wasn't your fault." I put my hand on his forehead. "You need some rest."

"But I ain't tired." Dallas protested. "But if you gave me some OJ (A/N: Simpson) then I could probably try."

I rolled my eyes. "No, Dallas."

Dallas groaned. I may as well have been taking care of a sick infant. "This headaches getting me too."

"You have a headache now too?!" I cried. I took a deep breath. "Okay, it'll be okay."

I stepped on the towels (after putting on a shoe) to soak up more of the puke, then picked up the edge of the towel and put it in the dirty clothes hamper in the corner.

I turned back around. "Dal-" he was asleep. I walked closer to him, and heard his labored breathing. I smiled. My poor baby.

I went downstairs in to Bucks kitchen. I opened up the refrigerator and took a glass out of the cabinet. I poured the cup halfway with orange juice before returning the carton to the fridge and going back upstairs.

Dallas was still tucked in, asleep. His nose was red and his hair was a mess. I chuckled to myself and set the juice and a couple aspirins down on the nightstand next to him. I kissed two of my fingers and put them on Dallas's hot forehead.

"I love you." I whispered. I backed quietly out of the room, and quietly down the stairs to watch TV for awhile until Dallas woke up.

As I was in the middle of my TV show, I began to sneeze. A lot.

Uh oh
