8. {Pain Game}

Kaine's POV

I woke up to a sharp pain to the leg that was in the brace and it was unbearable. I shot up and winced very loudly and I guess since Ivan was the closest to me he had heard me and shot up too. "It hurts so fucking bad" I said holding the part of my leg that hurt the most. "I know, I know just breath and it will go away" Ivan says soothingly while rubbing circles in my back trying to calm me down.

After a few more pain bursts I calmed down. Ivan had gotten me ice to put on my swollen leg. I hated being in pain and usally I could tolerate it, but it hurt so bad that I couldnt tolerate it. I curled back up to Ivan's side and just rested my head on his shoulder. I think Ivan could see the pain I was going through so he pulled me closer to him and put his arm around my waist.

Within a couple of hours we were all on the private jet back to L.A. and to be honest with you I was happy to just go home. The whole plane ride my leg was killing me and everyone knew that so as the good friends they were always asked if I was ok or if I needed anything. I was really thankful for them and I couldnt ask for anyhing more.

We got back to the house and settled down in the living room. Everyone decided to do like a spin the wheel challenge with like questions. But being in the position I was in I really couldnt join them. I just sat down on the couch and plugged my headphones in and listened to some music. Throughout the challenges I turned the music off but kept my heaphones in and just watched them. Once Ivan gotten up to the wheel I paused the music again and just listened. He landed on 'Say the name of the person you like' I wanted to put my music back on and not listen but I left it off. "I mean since all of you already know who I like might as well say it" Ivan says looking overto me and then back over to the group. "Its Kaine" he says and I went plain blank I didnt know a really hot person like him could like an weird ass person like me. I took my headphones out and faced him from where I was sitting. "Ivan you like me" I said and everyone turned to me and Ivan's eyes went wide. "Kaine you werent supposed to hear that" he says going red. "Its all I ever wanted to hear" I smiled, "Really I thought you didnt like me like that" he said shyingly while everyone was saying 'just date already' or 'just get married already'. "I didnt say anything because I didnt think you liked me like that" I said, "Whats not to like about you" he said coming over and sitting next to me and everyone followed with their cameras or phones just filming what was happening thinking it was good vlog content. I just looked down at my purple and blue knee and wondered why he liked me.

I realised that when I saw my mom she said that somebody wanted to tell me that they loved me and now it hit me. That person was Ivan. People were right Kivan was real, I just thought it was a joke when I saw it on social media but it was real the whole time. When everyone would tell me that Ivan liked me I didnt believe it and as much times they tried to convince me I always denied it.

I slowly tried to make my way up the stairs but stopped halfway and let the pain take over me, so instead of continuing up the stairs, I just sat down on the steps. Ivan was coming down the stairs but noticed me just sitting there. "You good" he asked looking down at me. "Yea could you get my phone from my room Im kinda stuck" I laughed and he nodded going back up the stairs.

He came out a couple of seconds later and handed it to me. "Oh yea I put my fingerprint in it just so you know" he laughed slumping down next to me. "Oh did you now ok then let me see your phone" I said holding out my hand and him reluctingtly handing it over. I put my fingerprint in and took a selfie of both of us and made it his lock and home screen. "Now it looks like I one up'd you" I laughed giving back his phone and he just laughed. "Wait how did you get into my phone if it was locked" I asked, "Ive seen you put your password into your phone" He said in a duh tone.

I finally dragged myself back up to my room and got changed for the night. I made Ivan get me some more ice for my leg. I dont like when I have to depend on people but its fun when I get to mess areound with Ivan. He came back in within a couple of minutes and moved in next to me. His warmth always made me smile even when I wasnt in the mood for smiling. "I have a really serious question for you" I asked facing towards him. "Yea go for it" he said also facing me. "Why do you like me" I asked, "Does this answer your question" he said which made me a little confused for a second before his lips were on mine. I shot back in suprisment but I didnt pull away. It was one of the most special moments of my life that I will cherish forever. I know that soundse so cliche but I dont honestly care at this point.

We pulled away after what felt like forever but more like a couple seconds. I looked into his bright blue eyes and just stared into the depths of them. "Can we not put labels on us yet just wait till my birthday" I finally say and all he did was nod his head in agreement. "That does answer my question" I smile before falling asleep in his warm and safe presence.
