Chapter 2: Unpredictable Chances

Zemma's P.O.V:

It's 3rd March 2013 today! I can't believe I have a chance to meet him tomorrow. Even though I doubt I will be chosen out of those 65 girls, but I do hope I meet the boys.

What if the 2 one direction members that interview me include him. Oh my gosh! I am soo excited !!

But Lily's excitement was on another level! She was dancing up and down the whole day , telling her friends how lucky we were to see them. She had a huge social circle, unlike me.

Me and Lily had met in Starbucks, when I was completely distressed about my living and earning. She was a sweet 19 year old girl that came to order with a couple of her friends.

I used to have many friends back in Albany. In fact, I was quite confident and bossy, as Leos tend to be sometimes! But, NYC was a whole new place, hence I was or am a bit secluded and have less friends here.I can be a bit shy and I tend to be very confident at times.

Anyways, when I saw the beautiful Lily, we started chatting. Soon, she used to come everyday in the morning,during my morning duty, to visit me and have coffee. We used to talk and eventually discuss all our matter. She told me how her parents got divorced and her custody was allocated to her dad. Her dad is from Canada while she is staying here, trying to be independent. As weeks past, we grew closer and I told her about my financial tension and mom's degrading health. In January 2012,she offered me to move in with her in her small yet safe apartment and give a small fraction of rent. I was reluctant at first but I had to start living somewhere as I couldn't afford my hostel rent. After I moved in, I immediately asked her zodiac sign which made her laugh a bit, but she is used to my zodiac obsession now.

I found out that Sagittarius and Leos were a bit different but didn't conflict any kind of friendship rivalries. As I started finding more jobs, we got obsessed with One Direction. We tried getting their Up All Night Tour tickets but they were too expensive. Guess YouTube was the cheapest way to see them.

And here we are today, planning to meet them. I looked at Lily while she was chatting with her friends at the phone. I decided to call at the contact no. the email had given to inquire about my interview. It didn't answer for the 2 times as it was busy but the 3rd time a lady answered.

"Hello,Modest Management here. How may I help you?" She asked.

"Hi, my name is Zemma, can I ask you about tomorrow's  "Helper Assistant" interview ?" I asked politely.

"Are you sure Ma'am you got the email or code, as many girls have falsely called claiming that they were coming tomorrow-" I cut her off.

"No...I am sure I have the code." I answered,defending my self.

Leos become very sensitive someone objects them.

"Oh ok ,you may ask Ma'am " she answered calmly.

"Umm..I wanted to ask how should or what should I prepare? And who will interview me?" I asked, hoping that he interviews me.

"The boys and their manager will interview you. If you have any certified documents , do bring them , if don't then you don't need to bring them. The questions can depend. They might ask you about you punctuality or discipline or as far as I know them, they can joke or take it easy" she says.

"Oh thanks, and who will interview me?" I repeat.

"Depends in the time given to you Ma'am. From 2pm to 2:30pm ,their manager will interview the girls,then from 2:30pm to 3pm ,Niall and Harry will interview the girls."

Damn! My time was 3:45pm!

"And from 3pm to 3:30 pm, Zayn and Liam will interview and from 3:30pm to 4pm-"

Who?Who?

"Niall and Louis will interview the girls" she said.

Oh god!

"Oh" I answered.

"So, are you the lucky one to meet one of them or will you be the unlucky one to meet their manager?" She chuckled.

I chuckled back " No, my time given will give me a chance to meet two of the boys, just not my favorite one-" I mumbled the last part a bit, but she understood it clearly.

"Lucky! And don't worry, even if you don't get to have your favorite one interview you, all of them will most definitely be there! You are permitted to meet them!" She says.

Really?! Like my full chance to meet him!

"Umm, like even if I am not-" she cut me off.

"Yes, even if you're not selected, there will be the chance to meet your favorite" she says sweetly.

Yes!!

"Thank you!" I excitedly say and hang up.

I go to Lily and tell her my whole conversation with the lady.

"Really Zee! This is awesomely great!!" She exclaims.

"I am going to hug him and-" I stop her.

"I am going to be acting normal. I don't want him to freak out." I say.

"Oh you are soo right! I hope he notices us and finds us hot!" She answers.

"Umm..hot and me? Not sure but he will find you hot! Sagittarius and Aquarius-" she cuts me off again.

"Oh please! Don't start off with the Zodiac Lecture!" She says and walks away to go to sleep.

This job is very important for me as it can give me a lot of income. But I am more excited to see a glimpse of him.

Drained in his thoughts,I go back to sleep.

I wake up with a jerk.

"Get up!" Lily said
"Today's the day!" She screamed.
