Chapter 3: THE Day

Zemma's P.O.V:

It's the day? Oh my God!

"Really!?!" I scream.
"Relax girl, you have to go to work first but then-" she pauses and then suddenly screams with me" WE CAN MEET THEM!!!"

We both laugh at our behavior and I go off to get ready.

"I'll take off early today, as I have to get ready in a perfect manner!" She says.

"Lucky you! My boss is an ass! She'll never let me come early but I can try to work quickly!" I say

"Yea, Try to come back till 2:30! We have to take a cab to reach there!" She says and I nod.

We both bid our goodbyes before going in our own directions.

As I enter Starbucks, I have a smile on my face.

I try to work as quick as I can. I interact with my customers, boasting that I'll meet the 1D boys.

All the customers had only 3 reactions:

1. Either they thought I was lying to get attention.
2. They screamed and congratulated me.
3. Mostly they bribed me to sell my code so they could enter instead. Seriously?!

As I looked at my time, it was 2:15pm and I was quite done. I took a donut in my bad and was about to leave when I saw my boss stop me.

"Ms.Wills, going somewhere? How are you?" She asks, surprisingly politely.

Why is she soo polite today?

"I am good ma'am! How are you? I just finished my work so I was going abit early today" I told the manager.

"Oh, well dear, I heard about your 1D passes thing.." She says.

Yea, Soo?

"Umm, actually I have been accepted for a job interview in One Direction's Modest Management. Umm, but I highly doubt I will be selected from those 65 girls" I say and she forms a smirks.

"Exactly! That's my point, dear!" She says, making me a bit startled.

"How about you give ME the code and I give you promotion!" She whispers sneakily.

Seriously?!? This woman is a 1D fan?! Judging her personality, I thought she must be a fan of some 1970's music.

"And what if I don't give the code?" I ask.

"Then...let me guess....YOU'RE FIRED!" she spits angrily.

What? Will she fire me for this?

"Its a good deal, Zemma! And I'm waiting!" She says.
"But-" she cuts me off.
"I don't like waiting ,Miss! Quicken your speed of answering." She says.

My boss,Ms. Lindy has a big ego. She hated if anyone refuses. If I give the code, I ruin my every chance of meeting them, meeting him.

And what about Lily? She was soo excited!

And what if I get the job? I can earn soo much in a year!

"Ma'am , Look, I am sorry but I can't-" she cuts me off again.

"Fine, you're fired!" She says furiously.

"But Ma'am, I desperately need this job. What did I do wrong? Please-"

"Shut it! And get out! Let's see if you get the other job" she hisses.

"OK, please Ma'am! Look, I'll give you the code-"I say as tears begin to water in my eyes.

"TOO LATE!" She screams in my face, insulting me infront of the whole cafe.

"Fine!" I say, as I have had enough. Leos have a big ego too.

I take off my apron and shove in in her face, making everyone laugh.

"I don't need this job too!" I say and run out.

I do need this job but she insulted me soo badly , just for a code!

"I hate her" I mumble as I walk off to my apartment.

As I get into the apartment, I spot Lily applying makeup.

"Thank god you came ,Zee! I was waiting for you!" She says.

I remain quiet but I can't hold it anymore, and start to cry.

"Oh dear Lord, what happened Zee!" She says as she comes over,dropping her lip pencil to the floor.

"S-She F-fired M-m-e-e" I sob.

I knew this was the only job I had to support my ill mum!

"But why? You were working soo well?" She says as she hands me a glass of water.

And I tell her the whole incident...

"Oh God! What a bitch she was! Don't worry Zee, you'll get a better job. Trust me, I'll help you. You are like my sister. And besides, who knows , you might get the one direction job." She smiles.

Oh? The interview.

I look at the time and it is 2:45. I still have time to change.

"Go get changing! Then we have to get a cab!" She says as she shoves me in my room.

All sorrow has been replaced by anxiousness and excitement.

Time to meet them! Meet him.
