TOGETHER - MINIMINTER

"Cause you could drag me through hell, if it meant I could hold your hand."

Simon was a hesitant guy, he preferred the more relaxed lifestyle, not feeling the urge to be spontaneous and he liked to think before he made things happen, he thought about the minor details and he liked the idea of staying in on a Saturday night rather than going to the parties held by fellow Uni students.

He wasn't anything like you were. You were complete opposite, you preferred a life with adventurous and unthought out ideas, you had no cares and worries when you left half in the morning to drive around, you went and partied and you loved a thrill. Uni didn't faze you, sometimes your assignments were late but you would just shake it off and go on with your life. The boys in your school adored you, always wanting to talk to you, you loved the attention. Craving compliments and remarks people say to you.

You had no idea how you and Simon were friends, he freaked out on minimal problems and you just kicked back your chair and ignored it. He was more logical in life, and you were more of a dreamer, wanting a life of fun, which while achievable, it was unlikely, you can't get payed to just drink.

The two of you were out in town, walking into the most fanciest of all places, McDonalds. Deciding to grab just a quick dinner before you headed home, it was a Sunday night, and you the duo, were about to go home. You were wearing Simons hoodie, because you were dumb enough to not bring your own, Simon was shivering next to you, and even though you felt bad, you didn't want to give up the warm fluffy jumper.

You grabbed your order as you walked into the cold. You went to the car, putting on the heater as you buckled up your seatbelt, you opened up the bag grabbing out your burger and passing Simon his, Simon and you tuck in to your food, eating in the car because who cares anymore?

You finish your food and throw the bag out of the car, Simon looks at you like he was somewhat annoyed, "Why are you mad?" You ask. "You really shouldn't litter." You laugh. Simon got annoyed a small little things that didn't matter. "Such simple things make you mad Minter." You smile. "Don't call me that," he says grumpily. "Sorry," you laugh.

He starts to drive back to your home to drop you off, you look out the window, looking into the distance, you wonder what's out there, a more spectacular life you could live. You look over to Simon, concentrating carefully on the road. You ask Simon to pull over, he does as you ask, even though he was weirded out by why you would asks.

"What?" He asks. "Get out of the car, and sit where I am," you say, dead serious. He gets out, and walks over to your side, you jump over to his seat, Simon shuts the door behind him and outs on the seatbelt. You take off unexpectedly and Simon freaks out. "Slow down," he hisses. You laughs, turning off the opposite way, away from where the both of you lived.

"What are you doing?" He asks. "Going on an adventure," you smirk. "I feel as if your dragging me off into hell, I knew you were trouble when we both became friends," he groans, you take one hand of the wheel and squeeze his arm. "You secretly love it," you smile. "No comment," Simon says, blushing.

You grab onto his hand, intertwining your fingers as you drive, the two getting further away from your old home town, Simon looks back as you speed up and drive faster. "What will our parents do?" He asks. "Doesn't matter, we will figure that out later won't we." "Where are we going to sleep?" He also asks. "There's enough room for both of us in the back," you say. "Both of us, I think your underestimating how tall I am," Simon says socked.

"Your just going to have to get real close to me then," you wink. Simon laughs as he looks out the window. "Pretty view ain't it?" You say. "I can think of a few things that are prettier," Simon replies. "Oh yeah, name them," you raise your eyebrow. Simon turns around and stares dead into your eyes.

"You."
