GONE - SIMON MINTER
Woken up to the annoying ringing of his alarm, Simon rolled over happily to be greeted with the familiar beautiful face he had gotten to know, his girlfriend who shared his bed.
Simon opened his eyes, expected to see his girlfriends still shut tightly, a quiet snore escaping her parted lips, her hair falling back onto the pillow and her body to be engulfed in the white comfy sheets. What was there was nothing, no lump of a human person there, only an empty space in his bed.
Simon tried not to jump to conclusions, perhaps she could have gone down to make breakfast or she was having a shower. The water wasn't heard running however, so that possibility was ruled out instantly, his only other reasoning being downstairs, so he made his way down.
He didn't bother putting on clothes, not like the house hadn't seen him in just boxers before, he walked down the stairs, leading into the kitchen, he looked round, not seeing the girl he loves, but he is greeted with all three boys that accompany him in this household, Josh, JJ and Vik happily sitting down eating their cereals.
Simon doesn't bother asking them where she was, they were all to in deep with their conversation, so he looks around the whole house, searching for her in case she was sneakily hiding, he doubted it. She never normally hid, it wasn't like her character, but to keep his sanity going that what he envisioned.
He went back upstairs, plonking down on his gaming chair, his monitors all on, he notices that on the screen there was a little note displayed on his monitor, he blinks a few times, trying to focus on the small hand wiring, instead of logically thinking and enlarging the writing. ( Simon was never the brightest )
He glances over the text, his jaw dropping when he sees the words, he instantly grabs out his phone, calling up her number and pressing ring, anticipating her to pick up and ask her what the fuck was she playing at, going just like that, like a poof in thin air.
The call picks up, but before Simon can speak she was already speaking.
"You wondering why I left, short answer, I know about the girl you did it with." Her words were viscous, the line cuts, and Simon is left feeling like a disaster.
He was gone now, his girlfriend had split from him.
It was all his fault.
