TOUR - SARAH CLOSE
"maybe we were perfect after all."

To say you were proud would be an understatement, you were thrilled, over the moon excited that your fries H had achieved the goal she had strived for throughout her younger years. Here you both stood together, once being dorky teenagers trying to make it through the years in school, now years had flown by and both of you resided in the big city of London.

You both had your high levels of success, you never had a big plan set out, always knowing you were the type to more so just want to be happy at the end of the day, your best friend Sarah always had the minor details sorted out, planned through to the last second, she had her aspirations set up from youth.

The last few months had been mental for your best friend, her tour being so crazy, her music blooming and you felt so happy that your friend had finally made her dreams become a reality. It still shocked you when your friend got recognised from people on the street, you admired how people looked up to her as a role model, connecting with her lyrics and enjoying the journey she took them on.

In your mind, Sarah was still the Sarah you knew while growing up, the Sarah who was young and always used to talk about how she wanted a record deal so badly, the Sarah who always sulked to you when she was picked on for her lips, the Sarah that made you listen to her singing for ages, the Sarah who always talked about cats, the Sarah who participated in ice skating.

Her tour had opened your mind up to how you should never stop trying, Sarah was an amazing example of hard work, a grind that never stops, someone who puts 110% into everything, even if it's technically impossible. She was reading to work everyday for the next few years of her life if it meant doing what she always wanted, that hadn't changed.

Now her Tour was coming to an end, and it was both a relief and a thing, obviously moving around gets tiring, and you stayed by her side the whole time, wanting to watch every show she did, the songs not ever getting old, that would be impossible, when your friend writes a catchy tune, you will fail to get bored of it.

Hearing her sing the last few songs of her line up live, the end of her first proper tour made a tear slip down your eye, it was tears of joy, so badly wanting to congratulate your friend for how far she has come, you've already congratulated her a million times already, but it didn't seem to get old.

When the last few words were sung beautifully, the crowd erupted into a roar of cheers, it had finished, and Sarah thanked the audience for their massive kindness and walked off stage, back to he team, back to you, a group hug was shared from all of you, the excitement bouncing of one another like you were all little kids again.

You walked up to Sarah, you smile just looking at her, she was still your beautiful best friend, she still looked the same as she did when she was in her teens, her face had slightly matured, but her natural beauty was still there.

"Sarah," you say, she turned around to face you, wrapping her arms around your neck. "I'm so proud of what you've achieved, and I'm so hopeful of what's to come."

The rest of that night was perfect.
