~lunch~

The bell rang signaling class was over. I packed my stuff and headed out the door. Since I was in trig jake was standing outside the door waiting for me. "Hey." he said "Hi!" I said back. "Ok follow me I have a special spot I usually eat lunch at." he said grabbing my hand and dragging me along. "Ok ." I said going along with it. We walked outside and around the back of the school till we got to a hedge. "Here we are!" jake said looking at the wall. "This is the place?" I asked eyeing jake suspiciously. "No silly, this is." he said opening a secret door in the hedge. We walked into a secret garden with two benches across from each other, flowers, and butterflies everywhere. "Whoa." I said awed by the beauty. "Yea this is where I always go at lunch." he said sitting down on one of the benches. "Yea, it's beautiful." I said sitting down next to him and taking my lunch out of my bag. He did the same taking a sandwich out of his bag. "Hey what did you bring for lunch?" I ask taking out my own sandwich. "Um, a sandwich, pudding, and a coke why? What did you bring?" he asked giving me a puzzled look. "Let's see, I brought a sandwich, an apple, a couple cookies and a coke." "Ooh i'll trade you my pudding for your apple." "Sure you have a deal." I finished handing him my apple whilst he handed me his pudding along with a spoon. We sat talking about random things, and getting to know each other more for the rest of lunch.

The bell rang signaling lunch was over, and we headed back to our classes. It was now the end of the day and I was at my locker putting my books away. Jake came up to his locker and quickly put his books away as well. "So uh..I never got your last name sapphire." Jake said awkwardly looking at the floor. "Oh? well it's Irwin." I said smiling at him. He looked up at me with a surprised face, but quickly replaced it with a smile. "Oh that's a nice last name." he said looking back down at the floor. "So..where do you live?" he asked breaking the awkward silence. "Um...just down 4th street I think." I reply biting my lip. "OMG! I live down that street!" he said, well, more so screamed. "Shh! of course I was at the bus stop this morning." I said giggling at his sudden action. He just looked back down at the floor and muttered 'oh yeah' under his breath, but I still heard it. "Whatever come on let's go." I said slinging my backpack over my shoulder. We walked out of the school and down the sidewalk heading to our street. On the way we continued our talk we never finished at lunch about our day.

"Do you know 5 seconds of summer?" jake asked out of nowhere. "Um that was kinda random don't ya think?" I asked giving him a weird look. "Yea sorry 'bout that but I just wanted to know," he said looking at me sheepishly. "Well no I've never heard of 5 seconds of summer, is it a summer party or something?" I asked looking straight ahead. "No it's a band." he said looking at me. "Oh is it another boyband." I rolled my eyes waiting for the obvious answer. "WHAT?! NO!!" jake screammed at the top of his lungs making me jump. "Geez! you almost gave me a heart attack! you don't have to yell so loudly." I said putting a hand over my heart. "Well don't call them a boyband." he said getting defensive. "I'm sorry I didn't know. I won't do it again geez." "Please and thank you." he said sassily. I chuckled and shook my head "So what about this 5 seconds of summer is so important that you randomly brought it up?" I asked looking at jake suspiciously. "I just thought you might have known them, their names are Luke Hemmings, the lead singer and also a guitar player, Calum Hood the bass player, Michael Clifford the guitar player, and last but not least Ashton Irwin the drummer." he said looking at me with a smug expression. "Oh cool and the ashton guy has a cool last name." I said smirking at him. He just chuckled and said "Is there something you're hiding from me?"  he said crossing his arms over his chest. "Like what?" I asked confused. "Like you're secretly Ashton Irwin's sister and you just don't want to admit it." he said smirking at me. I suddenly burst out laughing making him pout and let his arms fall to the side. "Where did you get that assumption? yea right I didn't even know who he was until you told me." I said between breaths. He just pouted even more and turned away from me. "Aww you're just too cute!" I said using my baby voice and pinching his cheek. "Ow that hurts!" he said using his kid voice making us both burst out laughing.
